Hello all. I have been shooting air guns since the late 1960's. I had a Daisy lever action BB gun with peep sights. I grew up on a farm and went through numerous BB and pellet rifles. I had 2 Crosman 760s, 2 Crosman 1400, and then in the late 1970's I bought a Feinwerkbau 124. What a fantastic rifle. But, quite expensive as well. Lately. I purchased a Gamo Whisper .22 break barrel, and this year I bought my first PCP, the Crosman Prospect .22. I was able to get it after Pyramyd Air dropped the price to 229. It is an excellent and very accurate rifle. Enough rambling. Thanks for having me. Phil

Glad you got the Crosman pcp 22 at the reduced price of 229 as I believe it was around 400 dollars so that's a great savings! Did you go all in and get a pcp compressor or a hand pump? Either way you've got a nice collection going so far. And welcome to the forum!

Welcome to HAM Phil! You got a great PCP in the Prospect. I got mine in .22, and that thing is a tac driver.

I went with the hand pump for now. Cylinder size is such that the hand pump is not too demanding.

Welcome to our HAMlet, looking forward to hearing about your experiences. Great lineup over the ages.

That's great to hear the hand pump is doable for you. Post some groups for us all to enjoy if possible!
This is 2 groups at 45yds. I had turned down the power setting which is what the lower group is. Then I adjusted the scope for that power setting and that is the center group. Pellets are JTS 18.1gr

Very nice group at 45 yards for the Prospect! JTS 18.1 pellets are looking well stacked together. I think you got an exceptional barrel on your rifle. AEA Center Punch 18 grains ought to do great as well!
