Sure, it cost a bit, but at least you don't have to worry about breaking something taking it apart. You just have to worry about injuring yourself, because the rifle will be just fine. I have zero reasons to get this right now, but down the road, who knows.

I just shot my raptor hps the most accurate rifle I’ve ever shot. It’s a slug barrel but I threw in AEA 50.5 pellets just for the hell of it, a ragged hole at 30 yards 15 shots averaging 995 ft./s which obviously is way too fast for a pellet, I’ll be test slugs soon. I’ve always been a big critique of Tom especially with some of my past endeavors with him. I have zero regrets purchasing this rifle and I’m sure I will be buying another one. I want to thank Brian and Wyatt at EDgun West for their help and knowledge. The build and finish quality is Unbelievable.

I’ll check when I get home later tonight, I can’t tell you it is definitely around 7 pounds with the scope on it. It feels like for example my rambler 30 with the same scope is a tank in weight compared to the Raptor.

I won’t be home until later today. I’ll do a better one. I will pull the scope out and weigh the raptor with the moderator. It came with and give you a proper weight but I can assure you that’s gone that way more than 7 pounds. It feels very light and very walkable this big scope.

I have a bunch of different slugs at home. I’m going to try out. For now in the summertime at primary use of those rifles gonna be just playing around. It’s most likely I’m gonna leave the Fx halos and RMR slugs. I’m gonna leave the settings that it’s out now and see what I can do with that most likely I will have to lower the power even though I wouldn’t mind chewing those halos at 1028 average for 26 shot shots( these numbers are with a 4500 fill I’m gonna start filling just the 4000. No reason to go that high considering I have a compressor and two bottles to fill from.

Designed for slugs, the Apex likely has a faster twist rate barrel than the older Evol barrel's have. So unless shooting heavy pellets, it may not group as well as with slugs. (Corkscrewing, etc.)
