I received mine today. First impressions compared to the Garmin:
Likes
1. Nice display, easier to read in heavy shade.
2. As
@Solo1 already mentioned it is within 1 fps of the readings from my Garmin.
3. Lots more data. Weather and BC in particular. I’ve mentioned before that Thomas Airguns compared the accuracy of some of the chronographs and declared the Garmin as the most accurate for benchrest. That tells me that the FX Pocket Pro is very accurate too.
Dislikes
1. Neither the unit menus or the app are very intuitive. The Garmin beats it hands down for ease of use.
2. I still don’t know what some of the menu items do for me. It doesn’t just give you a BC. If you don’t make the right selections you aren’t getting one.
3. My only gripes are about the software.
4. It has a color theme option but it doesn’t allow you to choose a color. Huh?
I guess the final conclusion is that I will be selling my Garmin and my SG Pulse.
