New Knightfall MKII ( Range Report Added l

Just received my 3rd Nightfall. They are multiplying This one is the new MKII. Hopefully I will get to shoot it Monday morning .
Rifle came with a bipod and an adapter.
I mounted a Mueller 4.5-14x40 scope. Cleaned the bore and scoped the bore, looks good. I fired three rounds in my garage to check the trigger, right at #3.25
The bolt is much smoother and less slop than my other two Knightfalls, also the power wheel is much smoother. The trigger at #3.25 is such a plus.
I want to thank Kevin at Pinty for the great customer service and the quick shipping, this showed up to my door in less than 72 hrs.

Looks really good, you seem to have a type if this is number 3.

I got my NIghtfall Mk2 1-2 weeks ago.
It had some big velocity jumps 30-60 FPS spread in a shot string.

I had to add a tophat washer (3D printed from TPU).
You can just use an o'ring for that.
That reduced the spread to 15-20 FPS.

Range Report:
All 5 shot groups.
Well, If the regulator worked, it would have been a great report. I started with the hammer spring at the lightest setting, no joy. ES 77 average.
Then the halfway mark, ES 177 average.
Then the heaviest setting, I actually had volocity drop over 400 fps with ES 239
The Reg did hold steady for a couple of nice groups with good numbers at the end of the shooting session.
12 shots total the reg held steady.
I fired about 75 pellets and a few slugs in total.
Should I pull the reg and lube it, or what to do.
I really love these rifles, I just got to fix this reg issue.

Having that kind of back and forth, good a string or two, then bad, I would have another sent to you. That Cricket just aint chirping. Forget tearing apart a brand new weapon, potentially voiding warranty, when the regulator may even be beyond repair.

I sent Kevin a message.
I don't want to send the whole rifle back, as everything else is great.
And the couple of times the reg held, the groups were great

Try adding an o'ring over the tophat as I described in my post above.
That mostly fixed the wild FPS swings.
