So i have been collecting Airforce rifles for some time now. They are simple, powerful & accurate rifles. I built a custom .223 caliber in a Condor ss frame with maddog stock, Nobal stainless steel valve.

Well I made a swap with a guy for 2 barrel blanks, .30 & .357 calibers and they need a home. One of them will land in another Condor ss frame that I just picked up. Ive also recently picked up the limited edition 25 caliber slug barreled Condor & a Standard 25 caliber Condor.

The Tex Rex....why??? Why not....its a powerhouse and if you love the texan platform it's a must have. So now I have two long 45 caliber Texans. So im thinking a shoot off and the barrel with the best accuracy will stay long and the loser will be chopped down along with the frame to 16 or 20 inchs to make the ultimate short boy thumper. If you want to follow along over the next few months as I build tweak & tune these bad boys check out 802_airhead on youtube 😁

I would like to know how the slug barrel Condor performs for you. I enjoyed your video on Airforce Condor Super Sonic Slugs. It was perfect timing for me because I had just received some Hybrids in the mail yesterday to try in the Escape UL. I have been thinking about cutting an inch off the barrel to get rid of the choke and recrowning it for slugs but wanted to give these a try first.

The new slugger condor is insane. The 22 is 98 foot pounds and the 25 is like 140 with out breaking a sweat. I suggest grabbing one because they are very limited and won't last long. Just a special thing Airforce has done. Accuracy is there. Ive got some new Zan ELR 49gn & 61gn I'll be testing soon. Kc slugs 50gn hollow points are lights out accurate and ill be using them on some Coyote soon. Thanks for following the channel I appreciate the support.

I too was wondering how that slug barreled Condor would work for ya!
Being in Canada its unlikely I'll be getting one but I sure am trying!! Will be following along....What do you think about the 250B fill bottle included? In my mind that would be some crazy curvy shot string if you filled it from full!?
Airforce needs to make this a thing, not just a limited run🙏

I got one of the .22s about a week ago. I was torn because I like 25s but I could see with a Stability Calculator that the .25 with a 17.7 twist would like 50-60 grain slugs the best and I really didn't need anything that big at this time though I think it will love Hybrids as well. The .22 should stabilize up to a 42-44-grain slug with the proper speeds. I really like the way the NateChrony just screws right on. I shot some at max power just to see if the power claims were true and they are. I turned it down some and shot a 1/4-inch group with Hybrids at 40 yards without a tune. I was surprised and excited that they did that well because they were still going 1132 with 62.71FPE. It has the 17.7 twist and the groove diameter is .221 so the AVS .2213 slugs should work quit well and I got some 32 grain HP boattails and some 40-grain flat base HP to try as well as some 28.5 Varmint Knockers in .223 that I will size down to .222 and .221 to see what it likes the best. I only shot it that one time but I am looking forward to taking it out this coming week to see what kind of groups I can get. I do not have a range in my area and the max I can safely shoot in my yard is 60 yards. I am zeroing at 40 because that is where I believe I will get my flattest trajectory.

Keep us in the loop sir! While looking around at .25 Ammo, I was surprised to see mostly lighter slugs (under 40gr) avaliable. I figured it would prefer the heavier stuff as well. That does make the .22 a bit more desirable.

How are they getting that much power out of the .25?
