Here is video showing my Western Airguns Sidewinder setup. I have used this gun in a variety of pesting situations including my own backyard. I just mounted a new scope to test and use with the NV100 clip on, did a little backyard ratting after turning the gun down to 20 fpe. Can't wait to feel better enough to get back out again for some more serious hunting.

So you turned it down to 20fps energy. What did you turn it down from? What size pests is it capable of taking ethically?

At the moment I have it shooting 50fpe for Skunks and Rabbits. I personally wouldn't and haven't used it for anything bigger than a Raccoon.

It's a great looking setup you have there for sure. I am learning, or trying anyway, to get to what I need for the yote size critters. Trash pandas and foxes I got handled.

I have a .357 Rattler currently setup for coyotes, I've been very successful with it. Soon I will be looking towards an RTI Mora in .357 for something new. I'm sure others will disagree but I prefer the large bore calibers for Coyotes.

Well, my max distance for yotes is maybe, 40ish yards. A gimme head shot right now, even with the 25. And it does work. In the past, I wouldnt have cared, coyotes being the mangy killers of pets that they are. Seems the older I have gotten though, the less I want the beasts suffering.

I agree 100%, I use Big 9 170gr to 214gr for anything inside 100 yards and 100 to 150 with 140gr. I also use a 308 texan with 140gr hp.
