I’m going to go out and shoot a group on paper. Here’s some groups on steel. I don’t think they are very dirty, I hate the box/tray, very hard to pick the slugs up. First thoughts: I’m not seeing the price justification. Second thoughts: why did they make them sit on them for two years? Was it a legal issue? Why release them now, is it a revenge release lol? You can see in the second photo that most of the hits were slug on slug. That was thirteen slugs at 100yds.How did they shoot? Are they dirty like the hybrids? Shoot some old tomatoes, great fun!

Those seem to be shooting well. Dirty meaning leaving deposits. I shoot the FX hybrids in my .30 because fhey are accurate, but they foul my bore in 30 shots. Well, that could be an issue. I went back out and shot two 13 shot mags. The first Mag was with Halos and they were so bad, I shot the second mag with AEA 52.2 slugs. I didn’t change anything and so I didn’t expect them to do their best. They were terrible too. This is as close to no wind that I’m ever going to see in my yard. Either the liner is fouled or something else changed. I’m not wasting anymore Halo slugs until I figure it out. I marked the halos with a line through them. Both shot on the same target. Those seem to be shooting well. Dirty meaning leaving deposits. I shoot the FX hybrids in my .30 because fhey are accurate, but they foul my bore in 30 shots. I thought the same. I’ll also try the Sonoran with its 1:26.Yeah, somethings up with those too, for sure. It's real easy to forget how some ammo can cause problems that you have to figure for, when you've been shooting something that just shoots great all the time. I'd like to find something that shoots better than the hybrids, but accuracy is King so I'll keep using them. I'll be interested to see how the Halo slugs shoot out of your pellet liner. My .30 barrel has a 1in26" twist and shoots the hybrids great. Maybe your pellet liner will work for the Halo.
I laughed because I just was editing in the same thing when you posted.I thought the same.nil, also try the Sonoran with its 1:26.
Ok phew...you were being sarcasticIt’s a lead sculpture lol. I bet it weighs more than the liner. I think that’s the most fouled barrel I’ve owned, except for a Browning Buckmark Field grade that I owned.
I agree wholeheartedly lol.Ok phew...you were being sarcasticThats a pretty nasty fouled barrel!
+1 the hybrids being the dirtiest ammo i have ever used. (i cleaned them all while "watching" a movie with wife). I'd throw the packaging in the garbage and use something else to hold em, super annoying to try and grab just one slug out!
