Magazines are great. I shot the Snipe for two hours today. I haven't shot 40gr slugs yet, but I have shot 35gr. The 31.5 Altaros did well today. So far the best slugs are the JSB 25.39 KOs at 920. I did 100 rounds of Altaros today and they were comparable to the JSB, but at twice the cost. 40gr would probably fit but I suspect your regulator will have to be set higher at 175-180 (200 max) to shoot the 40grs in the low 900s. I was shooting the 31.5s today on 145bar at 920. Like many of the Kalibrguns I have shot, the CZ barrels like the 910-925 velocities in the .22 at least from what I've gathered. In the 700mm, the other speeds that have done well are actually really low power including down to 720fps . I always get comments about that but hey if the accuracy is there and I get loads of shots I'm happy to take it.

I was going to get some 40gr Altaros but I couldn't get my hands on it. I have some Zans to test but I don't like to power through just to do a "quick video," so today was Altaros exclusively.

Hi Tristan. Looks like a great follow on to the Cricket. As far as slugs, I’ve had better results from the Altaros 32.3 grain compared to the 31.5 grain. I’m getting BC 0.182 G1 with the 32.3. And 100Y accuracy is excellent. For pellets, I recommend you try the AEA 21.9 or JTS 22.07 at about 975 fps. Both of those are excellent and perform about the same.

I'll try that Altaros. The JTS and AEAs I've never had good experiences with being harder lead. Maybe I'll give them another shot.
