Notos Is Your Notos Upgraded or Out the Box?

I have built 2 insane Notos rifles. Why? Because its alot of fun. I own a handful of 2k plus pcp air rifles and they are good but there's something to be said about building not buying. My 22 notos has 500mm Fx barrel kit & carbonfibershroud, Huben power drop block regulator with 300cc carbon bottle, power plenum, buckrail chassis, Sabertactical vertical grip & Magpul PRS gen 3 buttstock topped with a Sightron S1 4-12x40 MOA scope. I also have a 25 caliber with Buckrail chassis, double Airtubes, MDT grip, folding aluminum stock, double power plenums with regulator gage, 600mm 25 caliber Fx barrel & Carbon fiber shroud, topped with Hawke vantage 4-12x50 scope. I have had a Ton of fun pushing this platform and seeing just how far i could take them. The 22 is a 42 foot pound lazerbeam with Fx Hybrid slugs. The 25 cal is tuned to shoot 25gn Jsb pellets for 55 foot pounds. Ive also been working on a drop in trigger kit to get the trigger down to a pound in break weight. The notos biggest flaw is its trigger. Both of them can hang with anything out there in terms of consistency and accuracy.

But in terms of fun and "what the heck is that" factor there the best 🤣

Your 802_Airhead on YouTube aren't you? I'm drawing some parallels here😆 Quite wild what can be done with the platform. The honda civic of Pcps?🤔

My trigger is definitely the weak point on my custom Notos. Sign me up for a trigger kit when it's ready!

Drop in trigger kit... I like that!

The best single upgrade for the Notos platform by far is the CRC Precision bolt-on 25cc plenum. That upgrade alone added 90-100fps (depending on projectile) to every shot and increased my per-fill shot count by around 40%. It also is offset enough to allow users to keep the OEM barrel and moderator. I have since added a C88 hammer weight, upgraded valve, trigger kit, custom built 100cc air-tube (Thanks Mark Hooper), and a custom printed 3-stage Tesla Valve moderator insert to my otherwise stock Notos and it shoots amazing. Last chronograph session showed 15gr lead-free slugs consistently in the low 900s (fps), 18.6gr slugs between 875 and 890 fps, and lead-free 10gr pellets at over 930 fps. It is fast and accurate, and prairie dogs at 50-yards with slugs and irons is very doable.
