I am looking at these in .22, and they are 22gr .217, and 'supposedly' made by RMR too. They sound like an FX Hybrid, look like an FX Hybrid, and are made by the people who make FX Hybrids. If I was talking about ducks, then I would say that it's a duck, however, I'll still ask, is this the same thing?

The reason to me, why it isn't obvious, is the price. FX Hybrids go for .14c a piece, buying them from RMR they go for .12c a piece, but the Impulse Air slugs sell for .10c a piece. Why would they sell cheaper at Utah Airguns than I can buy RMR's for, straight from the manufacturer? If someone were using this slug, and it was the same one, why would you buy either the FX or RMR for more money? It doesn't make much sense to me, that RMR would let Impulse sell them for cheaper than they do. Unless RMR really just doesn't want to be in the direct sales market. I don't know. At least with the FX you are getting better packaging, if that means something to you.

If anybody knows the deal on this, I would love hearing about it, thanks!

RMR in my opinion in my FX Maverick, Wildcat MKIII and Crown MK II shoot really well in 22cal and in 25cal. I would personally endorse them. I shoot squirrels with them. Granted, they are not as good at 100 yards, especially with wind, but weight makes a difference at 100 compared with 50 yards and squirrels.

Utah airguns is the exclusive fx usa dealer. Impulse air is Utah airguns brand. My guess is they’re selling the hybrids under their name, and to sell the , they’ve got an introductory price, which will inevitably go up.
Your most probably right. I will buy some just in case. I will also measure, weigh, inspect, and load them into a mag every other slug being an FX, shoot groups and report back. I did that process with the RMR and the FX Hybrids in .30, exact same thing. Unfortunately, the companies will just about never come out and just tell you.

Oh, I just stumbled onto these HBT slugs....
I must have been distracted by scopes and silencers lately that I missed the arrival of a new projectile on the AG block!! 😉

Looking how the weights are the same as the FX Hybrids,
and looking at the manufacturer being the same --
to me it's as clear as a mountain creek that THEY ARE THE SAME
(maybe with a variation in quality control).
