I have removed and rebuilt the reg in my Cricket II now several times trying to find and fix a leak.
I have not yet tried to do any tuning, haven’t messed with the hammer spring.
I measured the regulator with my digital caliper to ensure that I put it back exactly the same every time.
The printout I received from AOA shows JSB exact heavy 10.34, 5 shot average 954FPS ES 18 SD 7
After it was broken in, I made an initial 50 shot session AEA 10.3, 898FPS ES 18 SD 3
So today I decided to pull the regulator clean the belleville washers and give the MicroLubrol a try.
50 shots AEA 10.3, 873FPS ES 7 SD 2
I’m guessing that the tighter numbers were caused by me not getting the regulator set pressure exactly the same, I think that because of the FPS being lower.
Is that likely?
