The BSA R-12 XLX Pro has quickly moved to the top of my list for the gun I grab for plinking or pesting. The second choice is still gonna be my rock solid AEA Element R .25 cal. But I digress…
I talked with Airgun Revisions recently about getting a couple extra magazines for my beauty. Rich pointed me to the BSA websight and I picked out the high capacity (20 rounds) and another factory capacity (12 rounds). He had them drop shipped to my front door and a week later they arrived.

This morning I loaded both of them up with some JTS dead center 22.07gr pellets and headed out back. I had one main concern about the high capacity mag. “Was it going to fit under my Arken optic?” Hell Yah it does. Like a glove!!!

This was a big concern because I love the rings on here. I forget exactly what brand but I THINK they’re Vortex rings
. Anyway, the magazine again, fits perfectly. It snaps magnetically into place and cycles like butter.

It goes without saying that the smaller OEM magazine works as well. Buttery smooth with zero drama and same magnetic securement.

I would without hesitation, 100% buy another BSA rifle. Zeroed at 25 yards with AEA 21.9 gr, it’s deadly on appropriate sized critters from 0-50 yards, which is what its intended range is for.
Happy shooting.
