We like when a rifle comes with two, hate when it comes with one. We know the Daystate and BRK mags are expensive, but they are really nice. Most popular rifles have 3D printed mags available, so that is nice.

How many magazines do you like to have for the AG’s you shoot the most?

I like to have two minimum, ideally four. I like redundancy and less loading time when I have time to shoot.

I am fine with just one per gun. The S510 mags I prefer over Brks design, simpler, and cheaper. The spare mag for it has sat in my drawer all year except once when I pulled gun out for a pesting shot and the one in the gun was empty😮 When benching the Ghost halfway through I seem to ditch the mag and single load anyways😅. Still in the ammo testing stages with it😅 S510 however shoots almost everything 16 to 18grain excellent with minimal poi shift. Although a starling did escape when I held over its back @40Y and shot over its back with a 16. (thought I had 18.13s in the mag😓)

Nothing I got used a mag in it . I would think I'd use the ss tray most unless random shoot'em up gauntlet run of the range ..

I dislike most is when they make something as a added expense option that really should be a in the box item . Kinda there wanting to nickel and dime you more ..

Then being one to want most for the money I guess 2 clips are better then getting just one in the end ..🥴

@Florida_Man One is good. I can't say I need one because I can hand-load individual projectiles without a mag on most of my airguns. I'm not spending all of this money to hand-load an airgun all of the time, so I'd at least like to have one. I wouldn't want to hand-load a .22 or smaller, period. Two mags is desirable, but 3-4 is always a plus just to have backups for the two mags. I have lost a mag on a night hunt trying to set up a shot on a coyote. Once my adrenaline got going I was fidgety and knocked a mag loose without knowing I'd done so. I looked for it the next day, but I had enough extras that I wasn't too pressed about losing it. It's not like I lost an Evol or Sidewinder mag. When shooting paper untethered, I will reload mags when it's time to top off the gun's reservoir. I'm pretty used to doing that.

I have a Daystate and Brocock with the infamous $120 magazines. And I also have 3 Snowpeaks with their infamous not so good magazines. I’d rather have one good one than 2 mediocre (having in mind Carm are available)

I’ve shot a few thousand rounds through my Revere, under 50 of those were using a magazine. I love the SST for that rifle.

I have two FX Impacts, both in .250. One is a MkII and the other a MkIII. All told, the two have shot about 60,000 rounds, perhaps a bit more. At present, I have 10 magazines, four of which are worn out! They last about 10,000 or so. The bearing (for lack of a better word) wears to the point, the rotary part of the magazine starts to wobble. This causes an odd issue to occur all too often. The first shot seems to load and work okay, but the second shot unloads most of the magazines contents into the frame work behind the magazine well. There is no fix except replacement.

This is a tricky question for me at the moment as I’m not entirely sure lol. Coming from the PB world, I’m the guy who likes to hoard mags. For bolt guns I want at least 10, for anything semi-auto I’m not happy unless I’m over 20 (which I’m WELL over for most of what I own lol).

I realize airguns are a different animal and with me wanting a BRK, those $120 mags are as bad as the infamous Sako TRG mags (same price even, I think). That’s a LOT of money for a mag regardless of what it’s for! So I’ll probably stop myself at four if they’re factory, and will absolutely be checking out CARM or other options for inexpensive field-use mags. I’d probably throw up if I lost a $120 mag lol.

My two Atomics and Pathfinder can all share magazines. I also have one 3D magazine that can serve as a spare for all three. That said, I only find myself “needing” an extra magazine during good ratting sessions. Same with plentiful pest bird outings. Otherwise one magazine is plenty for my everyday useage.

With 4 you can dueling tree with two of your BRKs with a reload!

My S510 has its now normally included two.

The Airacuda just one, but I would like to get a second.

I had four for the Origin, only because 2 of them I received for free.

I would put some of the painters tape on them to write with a sharpie what ammo was in each. Some less expensive ammo is still effective closer range.

Basically, I had my 20y and less magazine and my 50y and less.

The correct answer is, however many it takes to utilize all the air in your gun. When your mags are all empty, time to top off everything. Repeat. You don't have to keep track of air this way, makes life simple.
Yikes I'd be broke from Magazine purchases 🤭🤑 S510 gets 55 shots and the Ghost 55 to 65 depending on settings. I enjoy the loading process and when shooting groups I may do 5, 6 or 8 shot groups so I often won't even fill it from empty. Hunting is always full mag time!

Genius!!! I was in such a situation this yr. Was taking out pests medium range with my 15.89 Hades (absolutely excellent to 40Y) but they started moving out further and wished I had my 18.13s with me at the time! My 2 mags are separated thus: garden pesting ammo (H&N greens) and the other mag will have everything lead. I will NEVER leave a mag will any sub par pellets left in it.

i probably have more the i really need but i like to have no less the two.
but i have a few more then that i like to keep a couple with diferant pellets say at i the moment i have two with the hades and two with monsters but i think total i have six for the EVOL .22 and four for the EVOL .30 and two for the BRK .22

It really depends on what I'm doing at the time.

I like big bottles, I cannot lie...

So when I sit down at the bench to shoot a 100 bull card, I want enough ammo at the ready to fill my card all off that 1 bottle.

Each gun I own has differences and they challenge me differently. I shoot some offhand sitting, rested on hands, rested on bags, in the vice, depends on what I'm after.

When I go outside to shoot long range, typically, 4-5 mags is enough for me. I'm generally after a specific group or target.

When pesting I have one in the gun and 2 in a case in my pocket. I don't shoot much when pesting, it's more about the hunt for me.
