Welcome to Ham! Yup they've changed a bit that's for sure....what are your uses for the Ghost would be the question?! I have one in .22 as well, did you get the plus or HP? Best things for it really is a good rubber grip and a bipod.

Welcome to Ham
I would second a good bipod if your bench shooting maybe a nice tripod ( something I want and still dont have )
how are you filling it this air? I like having bottle to carry when I go out so a nice compressor is money well spent.
bags to carry stuff as well as sand or bean bags of diferant sizes.

and lots of pellets

@peter Hello and welcome to the HAM Community :D

I think many of our US members would be interested - and maybe surprised - to hear a little about airgun ownership in Scotland.

My understanding is that the law in Scotland imposes similar restrictions on airguns compared to firearms. For example, that they must be registered with the police. Is that correct?

If so, does that mean that there is a 12 Ft/Lbs maximum power level (as in England), above which an air rifle is treated the same as a powder-burning firearm from a licensing perspective? Or is it different?

I have lived in the USA for 30 years now, so I'm out of touch with details of airgun ownership in the UK.

Thanks in advance for your comments!

i have the carbine .22 sub 12ft/lb non fac ,in scotland we require an Air weapon Licence renewable every 5 years ,use mine for small vermin control . permission to shoot is quite hard to get you need to be insured before any landowner will even think of allowing you to hunt their land ,& usually have really good references from folk who know the landowner and or gun club.
