Here's How You Can Help The Student Air Rifle Program

Here’s how you can help the Student Air Rifle Program!

All of us started shooting at some time in the past and here’s how you can help a new generation of shooters discover the enjoyment and skills that we’ve all gained from shooting.

It’s easy. It will cost you just less than a cup of coffee and – together – we can make a huge difference!

Today, the Airgun Sporting Association (ASA) announced a major fundraising initiative aimed at generating $10,000 in support of the Student Air Rifle (SAR) Program. But it needs your help!

To reach this $10,000 goal, the ASA is collaborating with Pyramyd AIR and Airgun Depot, the airgun industry’s two largest retailers, to leverage their established charitable checkout platforms. By encouraging community-wide participation, the initiative aims to provide the Student Air Rifle Program with the critical resources needed to expand its reach in schools across the country.

To jumpstart the campaign, the ASA has committed to matching all customer contributions dollar-for-dollar until their $5,000 matching cap is reached, effectively ensuring the program hits its $10,000 total objective through the power of collective giving.

How You Help The Student Air Rifle Program Reach That $10,000 Goal.

The SAR program has become a cornerstone for youth development, thanks to the long- term support of the ASA and dedicated members like Umarex, Crosman,Daisy and HatsanUSA.

Throughout 2026, you can help reach that $10,000 target by adding less than the price of a cup of coffee in the checkout options at Pyramyd AIR and Airgun Depot. Every cent goes to support the cause.

Like this…

• Add a Buck: Customers may add $1.00 to their purchase at checkout on Pyramyd Air and Airgun Depot.

• Round Up: Customers may round their purchase total up to the nearest dollar, with 100% of the difference donated to the SAR program.

Then there’s the ASA Multiplier! Airgun Shooting Association President and CEO Ed Schultz explains: “Here’s how you can help the Student Air Rifle Program! Every dollar donated by customers is matched by the ASA until the $10,000 fundraising goal is achieved.”

“Reaching this $10,000 goal will provide direct financial support for junior athlete equipment, competition entry fees, and safety education.” Ed stressed. “These funds directly benefit the Student Air Rifle Program, which provides a structured, safe, and competitive shooting environment for athletes ranging from elementary school through college age.”

Ed makes it clear. “Join us in celebrating a decade of excellence in youth shooting sports – visit Pyramyd AIR or Airgun Depot today to ‘Add a Buck’ or ‘Round Up’ and help us reach our $10,000 goal for the next generation of shooters. Between us, it’s not that many cups of coffee!”

This milestone campaign coincides with the SAR program’s tenth year of introducing school-age youth to the sport of target shooting. It emphasizes the airgun industry’s commitment to growing the next generation of safe, responsible shooters.

“The Airgun Sporting Association’s support is a major step forward for the Student Air Rifle Program,” said Jake Hindman, Founder, President, and CEO of the SAR Program.

“This partnership strengthens the connection between youth shooting sports and the airgun industry. It will help us equip more schools, train more coaches, and introduce more students to safe, responsible target shooting.”
