It’s Final Days For The ASA Joining Promotion!

It's Final Days For The ASA Joining Promotion!

Don’t miss out. It’s final days for the ASA joining promotion!

Until 31 August 2026, HAM Community members can be credited with 1,000 HAM Airgun Points if they join the Airgun Sporting Association.

At $25.00, an ASA annual membership costs only about the same as one tin of quality pellets!

Plus – although HAM Airgun Points have no monetary value – they can be redeemed to obtain a discount when purchasing airgun products from participating HAM Community sponsors. That discount easily could save you more – much more -than the cost of the ASA membership itself!!!

You Joined The ASA - How Will You Redeem Your HAM Airgun Points?

But this promotion only lasts until 31 August 2026. If you want to save big, you need to do it now and join the ASA.

As a reminder, HAM Airgun Points are accepted by the following outstanding companies:
– Airguns of Arizona (1,000 HAM Points redeem for a 10% discount)
– Hawke Optics (1,000 HAM Points redeem for a 20% discount)
– Pinty (1,000 HAM Points redeem for a 20% discount)
– Umarex USA (1,000 HAM Points redeem for a 20% discount)

Let’s remember that the Airgun Sporting Association was absolutely critical in protecting airgunners against the recent proposed anti-airgun legislation in New York State.

What Happened To The New York Airgun Ban?

That episode was a clear reminder that we – law-abiding airgun owners and shooters – are suddenly directly in the sights of a minority of politically-motivated, anti-gun zealots across the country. We can come under attack anywhere at any time.

So how can air gunners defend ourselves? The Airgun Shooting Association is the best – and maybe only – means of defense we have. That’s the biggest reason why we all need to join.

Through trying to help with the New York episode, I have come to see how the ASA has been defending the interests of all airgunners through a “behind the scenes” campaign to counteract the proposed legislation through education and logical argument.

This work has involved communicating with State senators, marshaling legal teams and commissioning lobbyists to support our position. It also includes IT work, setting-up the “Save Airguns In New York” webpage and the automated links associated with it. And more.

It was a TON of work and it doesn’t come free. It costs money and the ASA needs our annual subscriptions so that it can fight for our interests anywhere and everywhere across the USA.

“Our ultimate goal with the ASA from the start was to evolve into a voice for the airgun industry,” explains ASA President and CEO Ed Schultz.

Ed Schultz Is The Airgun Sporting Association’s New Leader

“The ASA can provide a leadership role, amplifying our many member voices into a single more powerful body that will help protect and grow the airgun community.”

And the more members the ASA has, the louder that voice can be.

So don’t miss out. It’s final days for the ASA joining promotion. Add your voice for less than a tin of quality pellets. With the HAM Airgun Points promotion, you can save money too!

And thanks to all HAM Community members who have joined the ASA already…

THANK YOU!

I am in and registered! I am always willing to try and help get something started. I don't have a ton of time, but willing to give some of what I have if you need help.

I would recommend a dedicated section here for ASA. Maybe a badge or tag for members???

I joined ASA on August 26th. How do I get Ham points?

Waytoomany

Thanks for letting me know. What kind of airgun events do you want to see in your state?
Would love to see bench rest and PRS in GA. There is a field target club and I used to go there and will go back this fall. Other than that there is nothing local public or private I have found. My property will not support to many people, but I can go out to 150 for practice.

Sorry for delays as I am out of the country on business.

@Waytoomany OK here's the answer. You joined the ASA using your email address, not your HAM "screen name". So we didn't know that you were a HAM Community member without additional research.

Your points have now been credited. Thanks for joining the ASA.

Steve
I too joined the ASA using my orvhazelton@gmail.com email address. I didn't realize that this would cause more difficulty for you, Steve. I apologize. I would appreciate recieving the benefit of those HAM points. I wonder how many of us, such as myself, would probably not have elected to join the ASA without those points thrown in? Orv.

Orv, thanks. It's my mistake. Some people used their "HAM name" and some did not - so I got confused. I'll go back to our list of new ASA members - including you - and double check on the points. You'll see them in your account very soon!

Apologies and thanks for your understanding.

Steve
