Hello everyone,
I grew up in the northern Chicago suburbs and have been living north of Atlanta for over 30yrs. I've been shooting air guns and powder guns since I was about 10.
On the air side, it has been on and off over the years. At a young age it was basic Daisy bb guns whenever I had the chance, camp in the summer or when the carnival came to town. In my late teens through mid twenty's I had a Benjamin-Sheridan 397P that I had a lot of fun with. Wish I never would have gave that gun away. From there I've only had a POS Remington that couldn't really use a scope because it's a break barrel. It's only for the occasional vermin dispatching, if I'm lucky with the main sights, but I'm not a bad shot.
I've recently had a bad coyote problem and the squirrels are taking over out back due to feeding deer corn. I was looking into a 300 Blackout with a can and while I could afford it I just don't feel like dropping $1500 to $2000 right now with other hobbies I have and a vacation coming up. So I just got my first PCP in .25 cal and I'm looking forward to getting back into backyard shooting. It'll be fun punching holes in paper along with other objects with friends, while also handling the critter problem.
There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable folks on this forum and I look forward to learning from y'all and sharing my experiences.
Thanks,
Adam
