Hello. I’m new to the forum and to PCP. I have experience with firearms but not PCP. That all changed when I purchased the Air Venturi Alpha for my son for Christmas. Inexpensive, but boy is it fun - easily dropping invasive Myna birds from 25-50. Two days later I bought the Ghost Carbine from AOA (the wait is blinding - is that bad?). Should be a solid gun for the mongoose, pidgins, Myna, Kalij Pheasants etc. and when I get the practice - very small hogs that are rampant.

Love the forum. The debates are fun and the info enlightening. I will invariably have questions about settling in on the Ghost and look forward to hearing the feedback. Thanks in advance.

Awesome. I fly fish Kaneohe for bonefish (oio). I think the bay is a lot cleaner than it was pre 90’s from what I have been told. I’m from Manhattan/NJ and married a local girl I met in the East 20yrs ago.
