I only discovered his channel this morning! I can see I will be spending some time on his channel absorbing and hopefully learning.

Ok, what is done is done!

I place an order for a FX Impact M4 with 700mm barrel, scope, ACRA rail, chronograph, extra magazines, lots of JSB pellets and a stack of other bits and pieces.
Now the wait starts, should only be a few days.....

Hi Everyone.

Just reporting back, after some shipping delays as well as waiting for bits my FX Impact M4 (.22 700mm barrel) arrived today. I also ordered a 700mm Superior heavy slug liner as well as a .177 barrel kit.

I also have the slug "power kit" with pin probe, will play with that later.

The plan with the .177 barrel is to initially shoot it in the 25m HV class that is limited to 20 fpe. The .22 will be used later for the unlimited 50m class, with pellets or slugs, whatever gives the best results.

Also included in the order were a front rest, bi-pod (need to decide if I prefer the rest or the bipod), scope, rear rest bags and a FX Chronograph V2, at least I will now know what is happening. Lots of other bits as well, Christmas came a few days early for me this year!

So now the fun starts!

Sounds like tons of fun heading your way! What bipod did you get? I was shooting my Ghost over the Cadwell rest I had but just not as nice as a bipod for these styles of guns. Bullpups are nice when they can stand on their own 2 legs while on a bench.

Sounds like tons of fun heading your way! What bipod did you get? I was shooting my Ghost over the Cadwell rest I had but just not as nice as a bipod for these styles of guns. Bullpups are nice when they can stand on their own 2 legs while on a bench.

I also have a Cadwell that arrived today but I have not assembled it yet. I will try it but I think a slightly wider stock will work better, something that I can solve with a 3D printed "foot" that fits on the extended Saber rail I installed. According to the rules in the competitions I want to enter the stock can be no wider that 76mm so I will go to that width. I also have a few mods planned for the Cadwell stand.

I now have 2 bipods, an Accu tac and an Airmaks Valhalla, need to play a bit more with them before I decide. Locally very few guys use bipods for competitions. So far the cheap Accu Tac actually feels more solid than the Valhalla but the Valhalla might just need some adjustment.

Um sorry "cheap" accutac? I almost died when I saw the price tag on my SR5 Absolutely love it and I have zero complaints...just NOT cheap

It was cheap compared to the Airmaks! It is also a SR5.
