Guide HAM Community Classified Ads - When You Sell Please Do This

If not sold, HAM Community “Want To Sell” ads will remain live for 30 days from the date of creation.

After 30 days, one of two things happens:
- You can choose to let the ad expire.
- You can renew the ad.

However, if you conclude a successful sale for your product before this time - Congratulations! - you can mark it as "SOLD".

To do this log in, go to your ad and click the button "Mark As Sold". Follow through with the subsequent simple prompts. Logical, eh



Now your ad is moved automatically to the Classifieds Archive and is retained there. Note that it may take up to 5 minutes for this transfer to occur.

Note that the ad cannot be made "live" again. If - for some unknown reason - you need to re-list the product, you will need to create a new ad.

As soon as I earn enough points I will use it. Have 2 rifles to sell to fund another rifle I want.

Nobody wants to pay for the high costs of shipping, so a seller needs to factor this into his cost. I will list stuff to pick up locally from my home next listing.

@hameditor I do too. AGN changed their classifieds layout and some rules and people are all over there complaining about that system, but they still use it. I'd use this one, but I don't buy my airguns to sell. I don't enjoy the B.S. that comes with selling used items. A lot of people are like me, looking for a steal of a deal.

I thought things would've picked up by now. What do you think needs to happen here to jumpstart the activity level in the HAM classifieds?

I would say those short of just collecting points to collect point it shout matter.
the whole Idea is to protect the comunetty with in reason against scammers.
participating members are less inclined to be scammers.

There are individuals in this world that would complain about a free meal .

I’ve got lots of problems in life but HAM points are not one of them, spent over 10k since I joined .
