If not sold, HAM Community “Want To Sell” ads will remain live for 30 days from the date of creation. Make a note of this as the system will NOT issue a reminder and you may want to take action when the 30 day period expires!
After 30 days, if not sold, one of two things happens:
You can choose to let the ad expire.
You can renew the ad.
No additional HAM Airgun Points are required to renew your ad.
THIS IS CRITICAL!
First wait for your ad to expire. Yes, really! It will automatically be moved to the Classifieds Archive.
To renew your ad, now go to the “Classifieds Archive” category and click on the ad.

THIS IS ALSO CRITICAL!
When the ad opens, resist temptation.
DO NOT CLICK ON THE “RENEW AD” BUTTON.
If you do, the ad cannot be re-opened and you will need to create a new ad for the same product and redeem another 100 HAM Airgun Points.
Sorry, that’s the way it works

Instead, type “Renewed” in the comments window of the ad below the main content. Just like you do normally to reply to a post. (Only you can do this.)

Click the red “Post reply” button at the foot of the page.
Now you see this.

Now - at last! you can go back to the top of the page and click on that tempting “Renew ad” button!

Click the red “Renew ad” button in the warning box.

This will run your ad for another 30 days and you will not need to redeem any more HAM Airgun Points!
Hit the red “Save” button at the foot of the ad once you have made the change.
Now your ad will continue to be displayed in the “Want To Sell” category, however it will include the “Renewed” prefix.
Like this…

Congratulations, you did it! The ad is renewed for another 30 days.
Note that all transactions are purely the responsibility of the buyer and seller participating. The HAM Community is only providing the forum though which sellers and buyers can choose to contact each other.
Hard Air Magazine, the Hard Air Magazine Community, Archer Airguns Inc. (the owner of HAM), its owners, employees, Moderators, etc are not responsible for any issues or fraud that may arise.
