I have the Gauntlet 30 cal. By far the best pellets have tried ard been the JSB 44.75 s. I have tried a couple of others and none match them. Touching at 47yards! At over 107 fpe.

Are you running any modifications? Sound suppressor?
I just shot a G30 at RMAC in 100 yd benchrest. First time competing. Wasn't bad. I think I can up my game. Learned a lot. Stiff competition with a bunch of $2500+ rifles surrounding me. Was also shooting 44.75s.

Of course. In sportsman class, I scored a 385 total of two qualifying relays with 5 Xs. That landed me the 50th spot out of 73 shooters. The top qualifier scored a 456 and 8 Xs. The shooter with the most Xs (11) was in 13th place from the qualifying rounds. I had a good time and would do it again. Really just shooting against yourself. Figuring out the wind was a challenge I enjoyed. Other than practicing a few times beforehand that was my first real-world experience with wind calls.

That is awesome man, I too shot my first competition at the beginning of the year in April, it was a blast, even if I didn't win, it was the most fun I had in a LONG LONG time.

Bought a DonnyFX suppressor.25_.30. It now shoots 4 inches to the left of center off of the scope adjustment. Can adjust it anymore to the left.

Yes I have checked it. It is not clipping. I just got out of a discussion with DonnyFl, The are trying to claim that my barrel is loose, and I need to use some Teflon tape to hold it in place. I don't think so it is not up nd down that I have the problem with but to the left! They are also trying to say that it is the wrong modulator that I am using! Any excuess but that the problem is with their product!

The problem may not be the moderator but it may be.... Any time you add something to the barrel, you are changing the harmonics. Especially if adding weight to the end, its putting leverage at the breech end.

Have you pulled the moderator off and confirmed that it is shooting normal still with it off?

Yes I have taken it off and it is now zeroed without it! I don't think I will put it back on!

I was shooting it in my backyard. One of my neighbors called the cops. They came out and said air guns, no problem. Have a good day. And then they left! The a*old Robert came out and talked to them. They just dismissed him. Thy very polite to me!!

I had the cops out here 2 days ago. I have an Drag Claw which we where shooting at the time and was told that I live in a non-shooting area. Even though I live in the county(right next to city line). I was told that if he returned he would take my airguns and cite me. Really bums me out, I can't shoot on my property anymore. But he also said if I go two blocks west there is no restrictions there. I live on just under 3 acres. I was planning a nice shooting range, I already have a railroad tie back stop.I was planning on setting it up to at least 100 yards if not more.
