Both HPP and the Pellet Shop have the .30 700mm Bull barrels in stock. My Panthera is down for the count right now. Hopefully, I’ll get it back up and be able to report my thoughts on the Bull barrels.

Its fine, buy it anyways and see if it could be machined to fit in your ghost....its getting old waiting for the .30cal slug barrel from Brk lol. Both HPP and the Pellet Shop have the .30 700mm Bull barrels in stock. Yes I did, I was going to buy the weights and I figure the heavier bull barrel might eliminate the need. The big advantage that the bull barrel has over the solid barrel is that it screws into the Dynamic block. I’m just not sure either of these upgrades will make a huge improvement. These airguns seem to be very accurate as is.@Billm did you notice the bull barrel has a liner too? Just like the solid barrel

But how long did fx deny poi shift in their barrels?Honestly though, considering how these guns work, fluting the barrel is a no brainer, at least the plenum portion.
Last I heard, they still do, at least on Impacts. I will say that I don't have any of those on my Dynamic block gun, and these soda straw barrels that supposedly can't shoot accurately, are phenominal. My guns heavy enough as it is, you all can have your solid barrels and bull barrels, they don't interest me at all at the moment. No need. But how long did fx deny poi shift in their barrels?
I agree the accuracy of the liners is astounding. The only reason that I want weight or a bull barrel is that I’ve been shooting a lot of “free recoil” style. The recoil of the Panthera .30 with heavy projectiles is very noticeable from an accuracy viewpoint. No, it doesn’t recoil like my Remington 700 .300 Winmag, but from an air rifle perspective it recoils. I’ve been shooting free recoil using both a front and rear rest. The rifle travels straight back when properly aligned. When I shoot using a rear Protektor bag. The muzzle rises about 1” at 100yds. It does it every time and is perpendicular. I don’t want to hold it down and so I’m hoping the muzzle weight will eliminate the muzzle flip.Last I heard, they still do, at least on Impacts. The airgun muzzle brakes really work well too if you can put up with the noise. I have a 300WM too with an Ops Inc brake on it, and that thing doesn't kick either, but it makes the whole town deaf! I really like airguns now.I agree the accuracy of the liners is astounding. The only reason that I want weight or a bull barrel is that I’ve been shooting a lot of “free recoil” style. I did mention this before loss of plenum space , but in all honesty you said it had plenty of plenum space to spare. Unless they configured it in the kit. who knows lack of info once again , I will have to make a call to verify, before aThe one concern that I have, is the loss of plenum volume. I’ll be disappointed if the first ones are un-fluted and the next ones are fluted. Only because that would mean the loss of volume had a noticeably negative impact. That’s just something I read somewhere.
I agree with everything you are saying. From what I read the plenum on the MKII is large enough that the added displacement isn’t an issue. But, that is contradicted by the fact that some of the test FX Bull barrels used by their sponsored influencers/testers are fluted. It was stated that they were fluted to give back some of the lost plenum space. As you also stated the Bull barrels are machined for a precise fit with the specific caliber liner. That would tell me that each Bull barrel is caliber specific and vary slightly in weight and the .22 should weigh more.I did mention this before loss of plenum space , but in all honesty you said it had plenty of plenum space to spare. I post un-true info here. Ok I just GOOGLE IT, it says NO It doesn't come with a larger plenum to off-set the volume of space . If FX did come out with a larger plenum, you wait & see it will be another accessory or upgrade to purchase seperrately LOL All about marketing once again. I like the thought of the thread in style of thr BUU BARREL versus SOLID BARREL securing with screws for stability. The solid Barrell is a small step forward where as the BULL BARREL has more nass & better connection to the action. Just my thoughts. Why settle for the solid, I think it is a waste to get that option when you can get a better system with the BULL BARREL, You will leave yourself wondering should I have gotten the BULL BARREL instead. Just remember the added weight of either one You choose it will be definately heavier, I can speak from experiance with my CROWN with a true Solid BARREL , no liner at all. It is truly better much better than the FX Super light Barrel, with ZERO POI & much more ACCURATE Believe me when I tell you. What I am trying to accomplish is ZERO POI . FX makes the best straw liners but lack of a true Barrel, this is why in my opinion I am going for the ,22 700 BULL BARREL for the Panthera. Just & FYI will the .30 versus .22 have different thickness of material when machined for the proper ID ,Inside Diameter Put it this way which weighs more .22 BULL BARREL 700, or .30 700 BULL BARREL ?
Thank you for responding, I can always count on you. I read many of your post elsewhere on this forum, I just look for your screen nameI agree with everything you are saying. I had an Impact with 700 mm Barrel in .22 with tensioner & Bullet Central shroud all the bells & whistles & double rib cage& Guess what I had POI I then Sold It. If you transport & Impact you will most definitely re- zero your rifle. What you have to do is transport your rifle from your home to even a gun range, & you will have POI, FOR FREE LOLLast I heard, they still do, at least on Impacts. That's why I have never owned one. If I had to have an FX bullpup it would be something like a Leopard. They need to up their fill pressure to at least 250b first, 300b would be better because I would not run a bottle with it either. They'll get there, that's where the money is.I had an Impact with 700 mm Barrel in .22 with tensioner & Bullet Central shroud & I still had POI, I SOLD IT
