Getting back into air gunning now that the Pa temps are starting to cool. As some of you know, I got into PCP air guns last year with 2 Barra 1100z rifles and a Air venturi RovAir compressor. I'm hooked on PCP now. Now fast forward to this month. I ordered a Diana Bandit PCP pistol and it got here on 11/6. Great, but not so fast. the fill probe did indeed fit my compressor foster QR but it fit too loose and just leaked when trying to fill the pistol. So later on 11/6 I started doing a search fit the fill probe for my Bandit that would fit my foster QR. Found one on EBay, great. The seller said that it would fit my Foster QR. It came in the mail on the 8th. Excited, I went to use it and guess what, it leaked the same as the Bandit probe, the seller was correct that it did fit my foster but does not seal. So I actually bought the same probe that came with the Bandit. GRRRRRR. So now I have the pleasure of sending it back. So now I need your help. I have the male foster connector with the female threads, it came with my RovAir compressor. Can some one point me in the right direction or tell me exactly what I need. I really don't want to take the chance of getting the wrong probe again.
Thanks in advance.
Bill

So the leaking is from the probe and not the QD connection right?

If that is the case, things I would try.
1: Silicon grease on the o rings
2: remove o ring on the probe and measure the ID. Find or buy an o ring that is a little more CS with the same ID. In other words, increase the o ring size a little

Don't forget to cock it before filling or it won't work either if empty. Just an idea!

No, it was leaking from the QR on my compressor not the probe itself. I do want to say that now I am a happy camper, I found the fix. The stock Bandit probe has a longer shoulder before the stop. I put a 2.24mm thick washer on that probe. with that washer, the shoulder is the same length as my male QR for my RovAir compressor. If I want to use the probe I got from ebay, I need to find a thinner washer. I have 3 pictures showing what I'm saying. the probe from ebay with the same 2.24mm washer, the female QR will not totally lock. Ok the pics won't load, they are PSP files so I guess I have to convert them to jpg. I'l try to get them converted tonight and post them. Ok, here are the pics. Not sure if I screwed up and double posted the pisc.
