Exclusive First Detailed Look At The Weihrauch HW100X

Today we’re taking an exclusive first detailed look at the new Weihrauch HW100X air rifle. Weihrauch airguns are always hugely popular among HAM readers, so I’m sure you will enjoy this update to yesterday’s announcement story.

Thanks to the help of Felix Weihrauch, we can look at a selection of detailed close-up photographs of this PCP air rifle. There’s also strong indications that the HW100X will become available in a variety of configurations, similar to those of the existing HW100 model.

However I must stress that this is an advanced “peek behind the curtain”. Full details of specific configurations and their availability will be revealed in due course…

Above we see that the Weihrauch HW100X will be available in multiple barrel lengths. These are 310 mm, 410 mm and 600 mm. This reflects the barrel lengths available in the existing range.

Also visible are different types of built-in silencer. In addition, it’s likely that there will be a “FSB” (Fully Shrouded Barrel) version, again as with the existing HW100.

Below we see the arrangement of the dual safety levers in detail.

The next photograph indicates that the receiver of the HW100X will be familiar to existing owners. Also, the cocking lever remains the same. Hey, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it!

The beautiful new laminated stock has a contrasting, adjustable cheekpiece. There’s also a chunky-looking adjustable buttplate that just has to be an outstanding contact point against the shooter’s shoulder.

Below, we see the compact, 310 mm barrel version. I definitely like the look of this!

The pistol grip is extensively stippled.

Plus, that stippling is included in the stock’s forearm. The M-LOK slots are on the underside, as we can see in the photograph below.

Up-front, the pressure gauge is similar and the current probe-fill system looks like it has been retained, too.

It just keeps getting better and better! Silencers dont fly in my country.....but the fully shrouded barrel would. Cant wait for all the specs! Please oh please make more than 32fpe in .22 with the long barrel

I would say there's about zero chance of that.

Resurrecting this thread because I’m wondering the same thing. Does anyone own a crystal ball or know a little bird that has the inside scoop on when these will be available in the US? Alternatively, does anyone know of international shops that have them in stock and are willing to ship stateside?

I believe that AoA will have them available by about the end of February. (That's only about 6 weeks or less from now). However it would be best to call and check, I'm sure you could pre-order somehow to get in line...

Any international shipment will - of course - be subject to tariffs, so you'll need to bear that in mind if buying overseas

On the tariffs front: by my math, even after paying the import fees, my purchases are still coming out cheaper than purchasing the same item from the US. But yes I have been keeping a eye on that.
