That's what I think Tom is trying to say in his post. Likely heavier than you think. I'm not saying that yours are either just to be clear. I bought my rifle second hand, and it may have been adjusted by the previous owner. If you are satisfied with them I would humbly suggest that you leave it be. When I had a custom .22 rifle built for hunting we set it around a pound as I recall. That works well in the field. Much lighter, and it becomes difficult to manage. Most who try my rifle think that it's a "hair trigger". Hardly. Too light a trigger is a hindrance on a field rifle. Clean, and repeatable is most important in my book.
