EVOL Evol 30 ammo choices

[EDventure Outdoors]

Strictly 44 gr pellets for me personally. The gun was actually optimized and designed for the 44 gr, and pushes them at 893 FPS. Slugs for me will go on a different Evol specifically geared for that.

Mine is set to around 2,100 as well and shooting Hades at 860. I believe there's a "velocity adjuster" on the back. Wondering if that needs a 1/8 of a turn or so.

893-903 fps depending on the weather is super stable on mine. Wouldn’t hurt to crank her up a bit. Shot count is 3 mag for that tune.

Those off to the left are from Ghost 22 shooting 23 grain Patriot slugs. Slugs are so sporadic in it.

I've ordered a variety of 30's to experiment with from JTS, JSB, FX and Zan.

Nice shooting. I will be testing zans again myself in the new hps. I've always had luck with 44.75 fx/jsb haven't tried the jts yet but have some to test myself.

[Airgun-hobbyist]

EDventure, that is exactly why I sort my pellets for weight. Those JTS' and ZAN's are both pretty consistent for weight and after testing the tin I'd probably not sort them. The other's however are not so good so they'd be separated into ten piles then repackaged to use on down the line.

Let us know how the JTS do, ive read a lot about people saying excellent out to 50 yards but past that not quite the best. They certainly are consistent in weight though.

I really love the data posts! They save everyone from having to do the same thing and time can be spent more productively. Thanks, EDventure Outdoors!
