For this story on EBR 2024 shooters and their airguns, it’s appropriate to start with Tom Costan, “Mr American Air Arms and SubMOA barrels”. That’s Tom in our heading photograph, shooting one of his own compact EVOLs in the Extreme Field Target competition.
Of course it was Tom’s latest EVOL model that achieved success in the 100 Yard Benchrest competition, being shot by Claudio Flores. Congratulations to both!
Jared Clark from AoA is always in contention at the 100 Yard benchrest. Above he looks please with his score. Again, Jared was shooting an American Air Arms EVOL.
Fadi Kiwan traveled from the Lebanon to participate. As usual, he was shooting his favorite BRK Ghost.
Another BRK Ghost was being shot by Tony Pellegrino. Great to see you again, Tony
Holden Ivey had a very successful EBR 2024. He placed third in the Steel Scramble and fourth in the 100 Yard Extreme Benchrest Pro contest. Congratulations Holden!
But maybe not so many people know that Holden is one of the testers at Airguns of Arizona. He checks-out and test fires many guns before their shipment to the customer. Below he’s seen shooting a Daystate Red Wolf in the benchrest.
Tom Adams was also among the EBR 2024 top shooters with his Red Wolf, as we see below. No change there!
Below, Haylee Royce placed first in the Junior 50 Yard Benchrest competition. Here she is, with her signature seating style and FX Impact!
Long range benchrest shooting leads to lots of spotting scope use. Below, Robert Buchanan, “the man” at Airguns of Arizona, takes a careful look downrange. Spotting scope sponsors at EBR 2024 were Hawke and Sightron, their products were much used.
In fact, spotting scopes and ear defenders were mandatory at the Big Bore range!
Below. One man and his Zelos! Mark is a Umarex USA team lead for airgun competitions and is always a great companion and enthusiast!
Nic Gregoris is always seen shooting an Air Arms rifle, as seen below. He’s always in contention, too!
Below. Karma Red Pandas were shooting well in the benchrest competitions, too.
We’ll finish this story of EBR 2024 shooters and their airguns with a photograph of Dylan Treloar shooting an American Air Arms EVOL with an attractive blue stock.
Tom, I’d like to see it in red, too!
