Spring/Piston Diana 350 Magnum - Best Scope

I re-read all my posts on this thread, I never said it WILL get stuck in the barrel I said it might. Second I said that out of concern, not to 'prove' anything. Your group looks great but you failed to mention distance, and without fps, you wouldn't know fpe, which is of course important for hunting/pesting. Are you shooting it with the open sights still? Drop compensation would be crazy shooting it long range I'd think.

Why are you so bizarrely concerned with anything about my gun at this point? Your continued inability to move on is alarming. You stated the slugs would get stuck in the barrel, well they didn't. It shoots great groups at air rifle distances, per the target. That said it doesn't matter what I tell you because you just want to be right about something.

If you're looking for answers to some of your questions. I suggest buying an unaltered 350 in .177, buying the same 20gr slugs and have at it. I'm positive that's the best way for you.

Or you could chrono and share?😋 Already got a stock 350 to shoot (dads with mayyybe 300 pellets through it). Shooting both 350s my dad's is noticeably shooting faster and is stiffer to cock. If that kinda fpe was ever needed I'd go with a .22 for sure. The drop was unsatisfactory with the 15 gr slugs and I will be posting the numbers I get from both guns. No one I've ever heard of (till now) is shooting 20gr slugs out of their springers. It would be the equivalent of running a hopped up motor on stock axles with big fat grippy tires....something will break eventually I'd be afraid of.

Seems like I broke you? 🤣 Oh, the barrel is still unstuck...

I got ya beat, 65 years young. I've been shooting since I was 5 on my grandpa's farm in Tennessee. First gun I shot was a 1911, my dad's EDC. Been hooked ever since.

I'm very curious what the 350 will do with the 20gr slugs. If not magnum springers I wonder who H&N is marketing those heavy slugs too? I still need to find/buy a scope for it first. I love projects, I'm currently sighting in a Benjamin Kratos .25 with a UTG Scope.
I love my Kratos in .25 caliber. She's a laser in my 30 yard range stacking pellets shot after shot. I recently took out a large groundhog with it and that was very satisfying. I get 45 great shots before I need to refill to keep it's accuracy even though it's not regulated. Great rifle, I hope you enjoy shooting yours as well!

The RWS 350 has been out for over 20 years. I bought one straight from Jim Maccari tuned around 21 years ago. I have seen a lot of chronograph data over the years, and never seen one do 30-foot pounds, especially in factory form. 25-26 foot pounds in 22cal would be a stretch, even tuned.

Yes, it's well known when the 350 was introduced. 30 FPE is what an overly enthusiastic member has become fixated on. I target shoot primary in my indoor range. That said the 20gr slugs did not get stuck in the barrel as the aforementioned member argumentatively insisted they would. Please don't confuse my enjoyment of the sport with miscellaneous ramblings within this post. Thank you 👍

Interesting, how is it holding up? I have a Leupold on my elephant hunting rifle, I know, like I'm ever going to go big game hunting, lol. It never loses zero. Good scopes.
It's holding up fine. I use Leupold scope's on most of my rifles for the last 40 years never had one fail.
I have them on all my Weatherby rifles 378 and 460weatherby mag no muzzle brakes. 8000 foot pounds of recoil energy with the 460.

Cheers

My hatsan 135 in .22 puts out that much and I'm at a mile high. I'm talking 25 fpe not 30. Who knows. It might at sea level.
