Spring/Piston Diana 350 Magnum - Best Scope

Definitely got mote choice now then a few years back .. I also was thinking about 10-15 g

I'd also hope maybe after a few 1000 after new that would relax a lot to go to a average everyday 10 g pellet .

I'd try Walmart and the crosman parhanas in it as well .. there 10g .

Seemed my buddy Zach has this gun and made a thread or 2 on his experience dealing with the overpower part of things like pellets and spring work .. there at gateway froums ...

Idk... If you could go with a softer spring or cut a coil or 2 . Maybe fit a new seal in a bit on the tight side.

You got a good gun but it's one to fine tune it to it's best sweet spots .. the .177 just needs a tad more tune finessing..

I shot the heavy 10gr stuff through my weakest gun and you should have heard that poor main spring! Boouuuiinggg.. It was almost comical.... I was getting a replacement anyways so I didn't care. Seriously interested in whether the gun can even shoot those things without getting stuck, 20Gr is no joke in .177, keep us in the loop and chrony em if you can! If I think about it I'll chrony the 15gr outta my brother's tuned Diana....just for kicks.

I got ya beat, 65 years young. I've been shooting since I was 5 on my grandpa's farm in Tennessee. First gun I shot was a 1911, my dad's EDC. Been hooked ever since.

I'm very curious what the 350 will do with the 20gr slugs. If not magnum springers I wonder who H&N is marketing those heavy slugs too? I still need to find/buy a scope for it first. I love projects, I'm currently sighting in a Benjamin Kratos .25 with a UTG Scope.

Yup that's definitely more experience than meThey are designed for shooters like @Soren Drost and the like shooting Ghosts, impacts, Delta Wolves, Condors etc that have massive power (for .177) to spare. To send a 20gr projectile well you need to be getting close to 30FPE. Don't hurt to have some ammo in stock though for a different gun to try in! Only ammo I ever regretted buying was the H&N silver points...just don't shoot accurate outta any gun I've tried yet.

The 350 .177 is considered one of the most powerful magnum springers made. I never shot the nitro-piston version, but I read the springer was more powerful. It kicks very hard, high FPS with heavy pellets. The 350 is more powerful than the FX Impact or those other PCPs, 20gr should work fine. Remember pellet/projectiles become unstable at higher speeds, slower speed usually means better accuracy, hence subsonic .22LR target ammo.

Correct but plain and simply there is no .177 spring gun on this earth that can do that kinda power. The Dianas we shoot are hitting 19FPE with the 10.03 slugs and 20 with the 10.34 pellets after they settled in.

My AA S410 Classic FAC in .22 is probably the most easy to shoot accurately air rifle I own, but I seek challenges, not immediate gratification. Perhaps in a few decades you will too?

Son, you already lost what little credibility you think you had, "my brother's tuned 350"? Why are all your examples off the internet or belong to someone else you allegedly know? Why are you so angry and concerned about my airgunning life and adventures? If you bothered to work out the specs, load the FPE calculator, you'll see even at low FPS with heavy projectiles the FPE is very impressive. Are you familiar with how slow an .45 ACP round travels and how destructive it is? You even stated that the 20gr slugs wouldn't make it out the barrel! And tried to impress me with your advanced age of 37 and years of experience! I appreciate your input, but you're getting kinda silly at this point. Bottom-line it's my airgun and I'm going to experiment with it, different scope setups and pellets. Mine is mint. 30 FPE isn't the "Holy Grail", in the UK they hunt rabbits and squirrels quite successfully with sub 12 FPE. Pellet placement is more important than some arbitrary number you heard was critical for whatever reason.

He got the entire kit from Vortek (PG4) last winter so it's probably got 3 tins of pellets/slugs through it? They definitely 'settle in' and are weaker then when brand new...I know that when they bought them they would send 7.9gr crosman pellets (only ones I had at the time) supersonic, now they will not. He kept all his stock internals to swap back if needed but he wasn't happy with the harshness and the death of his last scope so that's why he bought the kit. Didn't really gain or lose any FPS to be honest. The kit came with some spacers...overtime if it gets weaker you add em to beef it back up. As you go up with the grain weight Fps drops but Fpe climbs, but only to a certain point...I wanted to chrony the 15gr Wildman slugs we have but alas it was cloudy yesterday and the prochrono is a fair weather unit For what it is accuracy is very good right now! 30Y groups here, his was bottom and left side bulls, mine with TX was top and right bulls. TX always wins on paper but he usually wins plinking or pesting sessions!
