I typically plink using holdovers, because its how I go after pests. So it was the way I started using my GPO. I still intend to use holdovers but was enlightened tonight. Who says plinking is just fun foolishness…
Last night while sending pellets after work I decided to dial for elevation to see how repeatable the scope would be. These are the observations of a casual backyard shooter. Dialed 7 MILs for two consecutive hits at 102 yards. Dialed .5 MIL for hits on my targets at 40 yards, dialed to 1 MIL for hits on my 50 yard targets. Back to Zero, hits at my 25 yard targets. I wanted to see how useable the FFP reticle was at its lowest setting, 4x, dialed 1 MIL and turned on the stepless IR and hit my fifty yard 1-1/2” spinner consecutively. Then to .5 MIL and hits on cut in half wine corks at 40 yards. This little scope is a dandy for my useage. Positive, tactile feeling clicks on the turrets. The tactile, turret rotation indicator is a neat feature. The next time I go pesting I will be trying lower magnification on pest out to 50 yards. Am simply loving this solid little scope and intend to put it to the test. Pathfinder XR shooting made in the USA CPHPs…
