Others Cleaning air venturi alpha

My first air rifle. I probably have about a 1000 rounds thru it . Shooting H&N Barracuda Match 21.14g The only thing I've done to it is a drop or two of oil in the compressor when filling.
Should I be cleaning the barrel? Do I need to take it apart? Do I need to remove the suppressor? Any help would be appreciated.

Also I am getting a lot of moisture out of the compressor (air venturi rovair 4500) when releasing the air valve.

You could clean the barrel - or wait till it starts to shoot poorly thats up to you. Don’t tear anything apart not necessary. High humidity means your separator is doing its job. Have fun shoot often-enjoy!

I cleaned and polished my Alpha barrel. It shoots really well. It’s super easy to remove the barrel for cleaning. A cleaning can’t hurt. Worst case scenario: if it likes a leaded barrel, you’ll have to shoot it until it builds up.

Cleaning never hurts. It’s a bit of a PIA on the alpha though depending what cleaning apparatus you are using. I was using a patchworm. With that a straw is highly recommended. I didn’t have the correct size straw. You need to find a pretty narrow one. Fish that into the end of the moderator to get the patch worm string to feed through. Removing the barrel is super easy so tha may make it easier to do as well.
