Others Aluminum bottles - how do they work?

I am interested in the Air Venturi Alpha and notice that one option is an aluminum bottle instead of a tube. How do these bottles work? Do they stay attached to the gun and you fill them with a probe just like you would a tube or do you remove them to fill them?

Still fills the same.

Some guns have options where you can have filled tubes or bottles that you swap out on the go, in addition to filling while attached. I don't remember the alpha being that way, but I haven't paid super close attention to its options.

It stays attached to the rifle. You insert a fill probe near the fore end. It is not valved, if you remove the bottle, the air escapes.

Correct, in this case where same configuration.
