I'm OK paying for fills.

Although I do have a PCP, this is really about getting my girlfriend back to the range after her neck surgery. A 1.6 L ought to get he 4 or 5 full fills in her rifle, which is likely more than she'll want to shoot. A 2L sounds about perfect, but I'm not picky.

Make sure you explain the tanks your going to use to the dive shop guys

Kragman, these air pumps on Amazon. Besides the extended warranty they have, most all come with the jumper power cables, you attach to your car battery so your pcp's can be filled on site at the range. That in itself should make them better than the buddy bottles. Easy peasy refills.

I'd prefer to have an adapter that mates to it, but if I really have to I know that I can buy the standard quick connect fitting either as a threaded insert (2nd choice) or as the whole "cap" on the air tube (3rd choice).

Does anyone have any tips for me?

Try Facebook classified. No sign up or nothing just use area code and milage distance around your area . Creigs list another . There's another but can't think of it right off ..

Being by the Gulf and springs to dive stuff pops up regular.

Did not know if that's what your looking to go do or not . Just threw that out there to look at ..

I guess there's extra reason you can't just unscrew that and screw in a normal Forester.. ??

No special reason, but I'd need to make a tool, get the thread and a good fitting, and lose the originality.

Found the specific coupling that I need, not expensive, many shops in the UK have them.
None will ship it to the US. not even Chambers ot seems.

Hmmm.. I giy a another forum ordered hw stuff from them and a few places over in the UK .

I just think there's a postal strike or something slowing stuff down but not a flat out denied shipping of his stuff .

When I get it and prove it's the right one, I'll be able to add a Foster male to the source end and should be all set.
