250Z Best moderator

Hey man welcome to the forum! Heartland mods are made and shipped from Kansas so I get them in a few days which is great. I just got in the smaller one he sells and it's so tiny. I should have ordered the full length mod for 65 bucks as the small one is very well made just not quiet enough for my 25 caliber guns.
Does Heartland have a website?

I have the full size on its way for the .25 caliber for the z. When it comes in, I'll compare it when it comes in.
Looking forward to hearing your results you get out of the full size compared to the smaller one I just got in. I'm just going to have to get one ordered next payday as Cantona256 has had great luck out of his on the Karma EQ 30 caliber. I'll be testing the mini this weekend on some of my smaller caliber guns as I have 6 22 cals it should work great on.

For sure. I think comparing things and sharing thoughts are super useful. Ive got to look into the old crow, and a 0db still, but slow and steady wins the race.

Ive got some pretty cool stuff planned out soon, so I'll be attempting a longer form video over view of the 250z from an average buyer/first time owner perspective.

How does that 14cc sit on the z? Is it past the trigger guard, or flush with it?

You think the Ronin would work well on the FX DRS rifle. Especially at the price.
Yeah, I'm not sure why it didn't work. I think it has something to do with the aluminum air tube. When I bought it, I thought FX was going to come out with a carbon fiber air tube, which I would assume would have higher air pressure and maybe cut down that hollow sounding noise it makes.

If I was only allowed to have one moderator, it would be my DonnyFL Sumo.
Every rifle I have owned has shot well with it. It quiets down everything I’ve owned very well. Do i have some other moderators that might be quieter or group better with specific rifles, yes. But across the board on every rifle I currently own or have owned, it has done well.
I have a 22/25 model and all my rifles have been 177-25.

Well, allow me to add this one to the 'things to try' list. Dude I can't wait to have a usable pcp for every mod.

Thanks for the heads up on the Sumo. I'll have to give one a try soon after my tax return! Lol. I've got a Tatsu that works great on some of my other rifles and it's a 25-30 caliber from DonnyFL and it was 129.00 dollars about 3 years ago and I covered it in a rubber sleeve and that helped reduce some noise as well.

It's still apart on the bench and family took precidense over upgrades and repairs on my rifles. Wife has been off work with the flu but she's going back tomorrow so my plan is to finish the 250z then. Unless I get sick it's gonna happen bro!

I tend to agree with this. I thought the Ronin was my best (if heavy) in every situation until I tried it on my 250z. It did horrible on that gun for some reason. The Sumo works on everything and is reasonably quiet, certainly quieter than my Tanto's, which also work well on everything.

Family over everything my man. If people can't respect that, to hell with em.

Im very adhd, so my goldfish memory means I float all over the place. 😅 its why I have a notepad taped to my 250, to remind me to record numbers.

Prayers for you and your family man! And thanks for the recovery of your beloved!

Appreciate it man! She works at the hospital so I'm hoping I'm not next getting sick.

I have several different moderators, but honestly the best is my Donny FL Ryu. I have the quick detach model so all I have to do is put a collar on the rifle for $20, and swap it over to the one I want to shoot. It's modular, so you can tune it. Top quality for sure. Thinking about selling off all of my others.
