Marauder Any Truth to the Prod Being Discontinued?

There’s a rumor by an AGN member that Crosman is discontinuing the Prod. I have no idea who the OP is. Any truth to this rumor @BenjeneerJohn @Pguadalupe?

Crosman has officially discontinued the P-Rod and the Synthetic Benjamin Marauder rifle.You can still pick up a P-Rod for $388 on the Crosman website. The remaining stock of unregulated Marauders is on sale at Pyramyd and Airgun Depot.

I was the OP. I was told that the P-rod was being discontinued by a sales person at Pyramyd Air. The Benjamin official website says the P-Rod Pistol Kit is discontinued and out of stock. Me bad. You apparently know more than the people that reported this to me. It was not my intention to report false information.

@cmarce I am aware who works for Crosman on this site. They are accessible and easy to ask here. I don’t know you and I didn’t intentionally slight you, so if you’re offended by me asking someone that I’ve communicated with in the past that works for the company then it appears that that’s your personal issue.

@cmarce C’mon man. You don’t care? I think that’s BS because your first post on this forum is literally saying “It was me…” Of all of the things to discuss as a new member to this forum, you created an account here to just say that? It’s evident that you care and it’s ok to care. Then you’re talking about what other people are posting? Man screw those people. You admitted to making a mistake by repeating what a sales rep told you. It’s ok. What’s important is us knowing that the Prod will still be produced. That means continued support for the platform. I believe that that's what matters most here.

Your right. I bought one on their website a short while ago for $388 and I'm very impressed with it. That's good news. The Benjamin website has it listed as p-rod stock kit as discontinued.in one ad and not in another. They should get their act together. Best little air pistol I own and I have quite a few.

@cmarce I can respect that you represented yourself as a man in this exchange and were man enough to admit to making simple mistake. And it’s good we got clarification by the end of the dialogue. These are good little guns. If they ever discontinue them, I hope there is a 2nd generation with a few modern upgrades that don’t change much of its compactness and utility. And for the record, I meant no offense. I seriously sought clarity because I like these little guns. I have one myself.
