Attention HamEditor: Would It Be Possible to Add An “Educational” or “Informative” Icon to the “Like” Button?

@hameditor Some threads are so well put together that they deserve to bookmarked. Exceptional threads that can serve a broader audience can serve the community well by making them stickies. More often it seems that there are posts within a thread that are really informative and well explained that deserve a different designation. Others may be the best post to answer the OP’s question(s). I think it would make it easier to dissect value from these threads when skimming (once a thread gets long) or if a member must sift through various threads in search of answers to questions they may have or problems they wish to solve.

An “Educational” or “Informative” designation could be extremely helpful because other members can highlight what they found important within a thread. Regarding questions posted by an OP, maybe and “Answer” designation used by the OP could be effective means to guide readers to the most thorough or accurate answer to their question(s). Please let me know if this is feasible. I think it may be a benefit to this community.

@FL22 Thanks for posting the link. It seems that the upvote and “solution” labels are dependent upon how the thread is labeled before it is posted. This does address the suggestion concerning marking a response post as an “answer,” but doesn’t address the possibility to mark a post as “Informational,” “Informative,” or “Educational.”

Edit: something like this but with a brighter color for “informative.”
