PCP Any Mora owners here?

It is the most accurate gun I own. I scored 2nd in CMAC this fall and 5th at Georgia Boys with a stock gun. No need to add anything though I put weight on the bottle cage to keep motion down on the bench.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve shot mine several times since originally posting this and I can concur it is a VERY accurate gun. I bought it specifically for 100Y BR (pellet) shooting and in calm conditions it’s extremely accurate. However, I ended up shooting my RAW 30 at PAC this year because the .25 just moved too much at 100y compared to the .30 in the same conditions. I sure wish they had a .30 sniper!

Too bad you did. I was 20th with it due to double shooting in the first round of finals losing 20 points because I never saw the impact. I went from 7th down to 20 You can look it up. I was shooting 29,5 AEA that are almost magical in this gun. 940-980fps

My goal was to make the finals. They took the top 10 out of my relay, to the finals and I was 11th. Oh well there’s always next year. My eyesight is horrible and I struggle seeing .22 and .25 holes at 100 so that’s another reason I went to a .30 hole puncher. I sure wish the Mora 700 Sniper was available in .30. One can only hope…

I've got my eye on a 25 cal Sniper atm. Am I correct that the cocking lever is left hand only?
I am not sure this would bother me, but all my other guns are right sided.
Which bottle version are you all liking?

Personally, I would get a RAW HM1000x. It has a long history of quality and accuracy, and the price is quite fair. All these upper tier guns like Mora, Panda, Evol, Ghost, Skout are just as accurate, IMO. It's just you, the nut behind the buttplate that has to make it work.

Yes, It is left hand cocking lever only I have both bottles for my Mora but I took the 1.1 liter bottle off and replaced it with the 700 cc so the Arca rail would fit. It is a very nice and accurate rifle! Love mine, but as you will notice everyone will have their favorites. That is why I have too many airguns, as I like them all😂

You will adapt. It’s not a big deal. I have both. The Mora Sniper in .25 is a pretty special gun. I have a couple RAW HMX1000LRT .30s and I would rate the Mora an equal. The Mora has greater adjustability and power than the RAW and is likely better shooting slugs though that’s of no interest to me.

What is drawing me is the ability to try both pellets and slugs without having to chase special barrels. I love my Ghost for FT, Im just not wanting to play the barrel game for longer range. Did you find it difficult to get an extension to fit around 1.1L bottle?

I've played around with slugs in .22 and .30 and never did get the precise accuracy I was looking for with slugs. Of course, I never changed barrels. IMO, if you want a slug gun, it has to be dedicated to that purpose and have a barrel with the proper twist, no choke and a slug of the proper diameter. I don't believe there is any gun out there that does both pellets and slugs well without a whole lot of tinkering in between.

I'm a bit surprised you would have issues with the 22 & 30 since the Mora specs those barrels with a higher twist rate. The 25 sits between at 1:20, which should give at least one sweet spot in pellet and slug. Different fps I would think, but still there.

I just want to know how the Mora Sniper .30 rates against the AAA HP, Red Panda, FX Panthera , Skout EVO and the Blackwolf for 100yd benchrest? I know that’s a lot to ask, but surely a few people have some anecdotal experience with one or two of these and the Mora? 😀

I can discuss the RP, Skout and FX Dynamic. In general the new RPB barrel is excellent but just out. I have been testing it to see if it can beat my 25 caliber barrel in my Mora. So far it is neck and neck. My RP is simply outstanding. The RP and Mora beat the others that I have owned. The Mora is the best gun I've ever owned. Like all guns it needs maintenance. Thus far the #1 issues have been 2nd regulator problems. I replaced my original regulator with the new spring regulator and WOW!!!!!! 2 days after setting it is is still 1 bar off. 1 shot and it stays within .5 Bar of set point, always.

Valve and other o-rings can need maintenance as well as the 1st reg. I cleaned and polished my 1st reg and now I have 2 second recovery. With my cleaned and polished 2nd reg I had 4 seconds recovery. I am 100% sure of that as I use Sekhmet gauges set to .1 bar.

Go Mora.
