PCP Any Mora owners here?

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve shot mine several times since originally posting this and I can concur it is a VERY accurate gun. I bought it specifically for 100Y BR (pellet) shooting and in calm conditions it’s extremely accurate. However, I ended up shooting my RAW 30 at PAC this year because the .25 just moved too much at 100y compared to the .30 in the same conditions. I sure wish they had a .30 sniper!
I am shooting one of the first 30 barrels. You will love it.

I was 20th @ PAC with my 25 Mora only because I doubled in finals otherwise I would have been 8. Yeah, 25 pellets move but if you are properly tuned they are totally predictable.

I took 2nd in CMAC, 2nd and 3rd in Mississippi, and 5th in Georgia all with the 25. Enough said. (5th as I missed finals due to night shooting the 100 bench with flashlights and my old eyes made a couple 7s. Still got 230 but lost to 231 guy who won the event)

I can discuss the RP, Skout and FX Dynamic. In general the new RPB barrel is excellent but just out. I have been testing it to see if it can beat my 25 caliber barrel in my Mora. So far it is neck and neck. My RP is simply outstanding. The RP and Mora beat the others that I have owned. The Mora is the best gun I've ever owned. Like all guns it needs maintenance. Thus far the #1 issues have been 2nd regulator problems. I replaced my original regulator with the new spring regulator and WOW!!!!!! 2 days after setting it is is still 1 bar off. 1 shot and it stays within .5 Bar of set point, always.

Valve and other o-rings can need maintenance as well as the 1st reg. I cleaned and polished my 1st reg and now I have 2 second recovery. With my cleaned and polished 2nd reg I had 4 seconds recovery. I am 100% sure of that as I use Sekhmet gauges set to .1 bar.

Go Mora.
Thanks for the info/opinion. I’ve been speaking to Neil George as well. It seems it has the same issue as most high end airguns right now: unavailable lol.

I just got off the phone with Neil. We are both on the same team ;) We spent a couple days zeroing the 30. Still more to do for a win in a major, but very very good. The 30 I believe will be ready for IPAC but if not, I will use the 25 which is win capable when I don't double shoot my way to 20th :(

I just want to know how the Mora Sniper .30 rates against the AAA HP, Red Panda, FX Panthera , Skout EVO and the Blackwolf for 100yd benchrest? I know that’s a lot to ask, but surely a few people have some anecdotal experience with one or two of these and the Mora? 😀
I owned a AAA 30 Paradigm and first gen RP and the Mora is more accurate, easier to tune, more reliable and did I say MORA accurate? I (regrettably) sold my .25 Mora to buy a .30 Mora. The .30 Mora is an awesome gun too but I had three .30’s and the safe was stuffed so I sold the Mora 30 and a Snipe 2 .30 (both great guns ) and kept the RAW 30. Why? The RAW is as accurate (duh) as the other two but seems to fit me better on the bench. Being comfortable behind any gun is another factor in the accuracy equation.

if its more reliable then a gun soaking in a caustic pool drug behind a jeep in the back wood then tossed off a mountain and still function all I can say is WOW!

I am keeping all my AAA guns : )
but from what I hear the Mora is a great gun to

I’m glad you are having success from your AAA. I had ZERO reply from numerous emails and phone messages from that company. Sad way to run a business IMO. That experience alone soured me on that company as well any future purchases from any offshoot / startups from the ownership. Can’t disagree with the robust build quality though.

We can certainly agree on the Mora though. That company is half way around the globe from me yet they answer emails usually within a day. That is responsive customer service from a great company.

I am very interested in the Mora for a benchrest gun. But, I have a lot of questions lol. They seem to be scarce in .30. There’s some grumbling about the .30 not being as accurate as the .25. It kind of worries me that two shooters have told me they are “hoping” to get their .30 Mora dialed in for a match, if not they will shoot their .25 Mora. The .30 barrels are a different design, or so I believe. Is it another easy caliber change rifle, that doesn’t live uonto the claim, because barrel kits are non-existent? Is the 700mm Sniper the best option for benchrest (I would think so), or would the 609mm standard be competitive?

The new RPB barrel requires a different tune than the 25 caliber. At least that is what I have found. My 30 is the most accurate barrel/gun I have ever owned. I will be shooting it in May in your back yard IPAC. I will be a contender for a spot on the podium as I always am (when I don't shoot myself in the "foot").
