PCP AGT Uragan King .30

It’s been a few months since I’ve had the Uragan out. Got it out today to try out some new JTS Dead Center .30 pellets. It does fan-frikkin-tastic with them.
Couldn’t resist burning up the rest of the can of them with it just plinking and enjoying this absolute tank of an airgun.
This thing is so ugly it’s beautiful. I love it. If it only didn’t weigh 40,000 pounds and need a dedicated pilot car to transport it around it would be even better.

Oh no the OP is right. The Uragan King is ugly. Yah know those people who drive around with a set of danglers hanging from the hitch on the rear of their pickup. Well if you get a picture of the Uragan from the right angle, yah see the monster thick long shroud and then ya see two big rounded knobbed ends of the double airs tanks……. Yeah - um… ugly gun.

Yep you know it! Hahahaha it definitely looks like a guy is trying to compensate for something… but dang if it’s not a tack driver and has enough air on board for a looooong shooting session.
Maybe I’ll post a more “revealing” picture angle of it tomorrow … if HardAir doesn’t decide it’s too obscene and censor it.

That’s the crazy thing about the Uragan King. When you first pick it up it seems to weigh about 10-11 pounds. Kinda on the heavy side but it’s manageable. But then if you take it out somewhere to maybe zap a few squirrels or something, somehow by the time you are bringing it back home it weighs 4000 pounds. It’s an incredible scientific mystery that no one has really figured out yet as to how this is even possible.
I don’t even know how they ship them over here. Probably they have to do it one at a time with those big Russian helicopters.

That’s a full magazine of the .30 JTS Dead Center’s at 78 yards today. There was a bit of wind that really had its way with the same pellets shot from my Evol. It’s not tuned as hot as the Uragan though and I’m 100% positive more speed would tighten it right up in the Evol as well, but it shoots the JSB’s so sublimely that I dare not touch a single thing on it.
I’ve bought 16 cans of the Dead Centers, burned one today and will probably burn up a couple more before I go back to work next week, but I’ll be ordering another batch of them for the Uragan the next time PyramydAir has a nice discount code going on.
If you have a .30 Uragan DEFINITELY give them a try.

Just ragging, I had a .30 Uragan Standard a few years back. Definitely one solid airgun. Very accurate for the little bit I got to shoot it at any distance. Kinda wish I had kept it now that I have a place to shoot - bet it would've been a solid 100 yard rifle.

Resembles the Kalibrgun Cricket!? Quick research tells me they are both Czech companies....are they same companies then.... Like Brk/Daystate? There are a few PCPs that rock the dual tanks....it's purpose is obvious but I'm sure they are unwieldy! I've even seen my beloved S510 in a (factory) tual tank configuration. From the side view it looks mint! If you do find it too ugly....you can dismantle into 100 pieces stuff it in a box of cutlery or whatever and ship it over the border to me

I've got an Uragan in .30, tuned by Derek Wall, that I took a White tail with last deer season. I haven't shot it @100yds yet, but I'm working on it.

Uragan .30 owner here, Derek Wall tuned. Daughter killed a turkey at an honest 117 yards, one shot
I've killed yotes at 105 yards, and g. squirrels up to 135- my limit was my scope reticle.
I tuned it for slugs, but went back to pellets for safety. I shoot on horse farms and slugs just keep on going ... This young lady took her first bird at 72 yards, first time handling the rifle.
