I think I may be in need of adjustable scope mounts to be used on a Daystate Wolverine R. With optics centered on a Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 scope, pellet impact is low just shooting inside my shop at 20 feet for initial sight in. Low enough to near max out elevation to get to be where it needs to be. Just testing with shims in the rear mount .020 will do the trick. Yes, I know shims can damage the scope, but I was very careful. I am using UTG Pro P.O.I. high rings.
So, my question is, what adjustable mounts would you recommend. Or is there another option?
Thanks.

That is definitely not great! I yanked all my scopes off every gun last year at least once and it sometimes makes a difference if u swap mounts L to R or F to B on the gun. Just throwing it out there as something to try. You can also drop your scope and gun onto a concrete floor making sure the occular bell hits first....worked wonders for my TX and airmax combo!😵‍💫 (Note*** was an accident and highly NOT recommended)

I thought about the ring swap but have not tried it. I will take your suggestion NOT to try and bounce the gun and scope off the concrete floor.

I have a bunch
FX no limits
Vector Optics
victor optics
Monstrum
Westhunter
ZB Lite Rail adjustable mount
Eaglevision adjustable rail

What I would buy again:

Eaglevision products
Vector/Victor (mine are the same, just the name) I have about every version they sell and some duplicates 1” 30mm in dovetail and weaver.

I've got Westhunter Optics adjustable on two of my rifles and they work well.

I have had very good luck with Sportsmatch adjustable on five of my PCP’s and one set on my spring gun. None of them have moved from my initial setup. Had my doubts on my spring gun but needed a height that I could only get with a set of their adjustable mounts and so far nothing has moved. It’s been two years. Only downside I guess is that they are pricey but I am sold on them and use no other brand.

Dan, I just can't imagine that an upstanding man as yourself would abuse the outstanding warranty service of such fine companies as Air Arms and Hawke. Momma, I just took one piece of that apple pie . . . today, that is. Orv.

Trust me it wasn't planned! Everything survived fine and the scope is zeroed almost perfectly now as it came (optically centered) from the factory. Originally, when new I had to dial elevation turret waaaaay up to get it zeroed @ 30Y.... No warranty needed here. I'm seeing more and more new airguns coming with moa rails for longer range shooting, very nice to see.

I've had absolutely no trouble sighting in using my two Hawke scopes. The Leapers Pro High rings that I use have inserts available to make up for some barrel droop, but neither of my scopes have needed them for accurate sighting. I have one set of rings that use a single mount, and one using two separate rings. I like the single mount best as recoil doesn’t seem to affect them. The separate rings have to be re-set and tightened more often as recoil seems to have more affect on them. Orv.
