2240-Type 2240 Questions

So I have a stock 2240 7.5" barrel.
Are the barrels on these choked?
Will say a 10" unchoked barrel gain me anything, like velocity or shoot slugs better?

Usually, they are choked. Slugs from a CO2 gun? These only shoot about 550 fps on a good day.

You'll get some more velocity, but I wouldn't bother with slugs, except for screwing around.
