So I was not happy from the get go with my new 2240. Everything was proper fit and finish and functioned fine.
However it was very load and only 15 shots before the volocity dropped like a hot knife through butter. Accuracy was ok, nothing to brag about. So I decided to make it a .177
So far:
Steel Breech
10" Barrel
Extended Probe
Larger Bolt Handle
Cut the hammer spring 1 coil
3 Moa Red Dot, using UTG Dovetail to Picatinny adapter.

Still to come:
P-rod grip frame with 2 stage trigger
Mellonair Hammer
Mellonair power adjuster
Shrike rear sight
AlchemyAirWerks Brake adapter
AlchemyAirWerks Bloodwood grips
Some type of Moderator

I installed a 2300s valve spacer and hammer spring along with a 10 inch.177 barrel. I thought I was getting about 110 shots. I just confirmed, in a 60f garage at 7yrds, that I got 135 shots before the 136th finally dropped half an inch and crept further down for the next 4 and I stopped. Crazy

I completely forgot about the spacer that my 2300T had. Guessing one could still call Crosman parts and get that spacer. It's part # 2300-037

Upgraded some more:
P-rod grip frame with 2 stage trigger
Mellonair Hammer
Mellonair extended probe & bolt handle.

Love the 2 stage trigger.
Adjusted it to just under #3 with zero overtravel.
Next is off to the range to check accuracy and shot count.
