After .177 I got into the the obvious next choice available for me: .22
So I got some....and some more...now.....my test collection is as follows:

Aw the Gamo😅
I have a real soft spot for the round ball; so easy to load into any breech, reminiscent of BBs without the fear of extreme ricochets.
The Rockets and the Red Fires are great for short range pest control(under 40yrd).
The rest...not the best but not the worst in the other styles that I've tried so far😅

I guess we all try out so very many, but what is really telling is where we all end up. I now shoot mostly JSB 18.13gr, that's it. I am currently going through a tin of the FX branded ones and they do shoot exactly the same. My .22 is 32fpe and this pellet rules at this power.

Since you are still testing, I noticed that you don't have H&N Baracuda Hunters or Match listed. You should give those a go too.

Oooo!👀🤗Thanks for the recommendations(payday is coming up...aw next week...🤣)!! What weights do you prefer on the barracuda/match?

At the time 875fps. I try to get all of my pellet shooters near 875fps, I'll try up to 900fps and down to 800fps if I have to for some reason, but 875 is usually good. They didn't work as well as the JSB's did, but they were close, and often times, more available.

You might want to add a relative newcomer: dead center 22 cal., 18.1 grain. I have been shooting these off and on for several months and find that they rival JSB.

same here i just always get back to them.
i do like the crosmans pellets in some of my pump guns but around here about the only thing i ever see is the .17 and since almost everything i shoot is .22 i have to order them regardles, so i just order the JSB pellets.

Yeah i use CPHP on some of my lower cost stuff and they work great
 
I was using barracuda 18s in my .22 origin for a while but nothing comes close to the JSB 18s.
In my butchered meteor super 22 best with JSB RS. And for the new marauder semi auto, I plan on using either the Benjamin single die, or the CPHP to break it in and go from there.

All the gamo ammo went into El trashCan O. 😁
