Lots cheaper and in my opinion easier to just draw 5 and shoot 5 shot groups for beginning practice. The regular targets are really large and expensive

100 yard bench rest targets are a great way to test the precision of your rifle, not the accuracy.

Its easy to manipulate a group , which is all well and good, it's still part of the shooting skill.

I like to look at a scored card that's a standard for scoring something across the board when shooting/comparing different rifles.

I suppose I could draw up my own and loosely score , the real target is the "X" anyways.

Ya it’s good to shoot the real deal but when just starting to practice you can save a lot. Sometimes when i practice i only have to the 8 ring which is easy to make a pattern for

10x is generally about the size of a pencil eraser, so if you can hit that at 100 you would be in good shape.

If you want to buy some targets for shooting 25 single targets you can get 50 yd benchrest targets from amazon wayyy cheaper than full size 100 yd targets and they are about the size of the 8 ring.

Centercut has a download on AGN that I use. Print 6 bulls on 8-1/2 x 11 card stock. 1 Sighter and 5 scoring bulls then shoot one bull at a time transition to the next bull and repeat 5x.
