Will the 2024 .22 mini and 15" Evol models receive the same updates as the bigger .30 brother? I am talking about the adjustable reg, HS and dwell or do the smaller guns just remain unchanged? I am interested in purchasing a smaller one but lack of these adjustments has held me back. I know that...
The saga continues. As of today it’s on its way back to the dealer for “evaluation“.
I contacted AA’s factory across the pond. They said they ship the rifles without a Foster fitting installed on the brass fill adapter yet mine had a Foster fitting with significant ball bearing wear marks on...
The dealer did respond the following Monday. They offered to have the rifle returned for "inspection". They said the test target I emailed them looked to be OK to them. Perhaps we have different accuracy standards? After reading their fine print (post sale) they offer no accuracy guarantees and...
The moderator has a LOT of fibers protruding inside the bore. Is this normal? I don’t see any signs of clipping but the amount of fuzzy stuff inside the moderator bore is puzzling?
I’ll keep that private for now. I’ve reached out to them to see what my options are. The obvious wear on the two fill fittings are an obvious tell to me that it’s seen several tanks of air in its life.
Received it today and I am not a happy camper. Bought it as a NEW rifle but I am pretty darn sure it’s a returned, used or demo rifle that someone else was likely not too happy with it either. The brass air fill fitting has considerable wear marks on it. The brass fitting came with a Foster...
From the videos I’ve seen the tactical is not blued but has a Ceracote “type” of finish to provide better protection in the elements. I do love the aesthetics of choice Walnut and blued guns but they just aren’t practical (for me).
FedEx says it will be here tomorrow. I hope it’s a shooter? It was a toss up between this one and a Revere but my track record with Daystate hasn’t been very positive so I thought I’d try this brand for a change. Besides the tactical chassis is more in line with the rest of my rifles so it will...
I’ve got a 22 Atomic and wonder if I had valve lock? It was acting really weird. Regulator is all stock setting about 125ish. I had the transfer port on the lowest setting and the HS was backed out 35 clicks from full in. Shooting JSB 15.89s and the speed was really erratic jumping from high...
This is one brand that I have never owned but has always piqued my interest and been on my radar. I love the look of their wood stocked models but I am rough on wood stocks and they tend to get too many "character" bump marks inside my crowded safe so metal chassis' just hold up better (for me)...
Thanks @wolfmangreg . That club is less than 10 miles north of me. I've never shot FT but it looks like a lot of fun. I went there once for a BR match but it got rained out and I never got to shoot.
Robustness is in the eye of the beholder and while it may be a good choice of words there are no standards or metrics to measure such rifles ... BUT ... I do understand your intent. I own and shoot an Atomic and find them to be very robust much more so than many of the brand "#X" rifles that...
