Coming home to new glass is always a treat! The Arken Optics USA EP-5 Gen 2 7-35x56 delivers exactly what you'd expect from Arken right out of the box. The turrets are crisp, the clicks pinpoint, and the glass is incredibly clear. It's built with premium Japanese ED glass and robust internal tracking components, all housed in a 34mm tube. The magnification and adjustable objective are super smooth. I look forward to really getting to know the optic. For more details, see High Pressure Pneumatics.

Arken has pretty much stolen me away from Athlon. The glass is every bit as clear or more so, and the price point will have you rethinking your life decisions if you don’t at least try one. And you don’t even need to shoot their top tier offering to get great glass.

I noticed most all their scopes are geared more towards hunting being FFP. I'm mainly a precision paper target shooter and use SFP scopes. At full magnification does the cross hairs get thick?

The only scope to compare it to would be DNT The One Which is roughly 140 $ more, They are both made in the same factory I believe

I would be interested to hear from other owners if they had rifles that did not like the optic. I run it on my power guns and it does fine. I run it on a .22LR NRL rifle and it is okay, but I just figured out it does not track well on my Avenge XL. I put a Vortex Viper on it and my POI issues went away shot the best 100 yard card the rifle ever shot. Put it on a few other PCPs and it was unhappy is the best way to put it. Oddly it loves the .22 Avenger and shoot incredible.

Optic is impressive for the price! Runs great on all my other rifles. I shoot matches with a .308 and it is competitive with the expensive stuff. Just seems to not like some of my PCP rifles.

Anyone else had issues?
