Others Begining new filling system with compressor and tank

I am making my initial fill of 3.0 liter air tank. At present I am on the proverbial learning curve but it is showing progress. I think I am going to like it. It is a bit noisy but changing out hearing aids to ear plugs solved the problem.

As I reported earlier the 3L high pressure tank I ordered earlier had a slow leak coming from the the threads where the regulator screwed into tank. It was a fairly slow but I could not stop it. I returned it to Amazon and a replacement should be here tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Yesterday I wanted to shoot and filled the 3 PCPs directly from the compressor. I now know no matter what has to be done I will get a tank system that works. The few times I managed to fill from the tanks spoiled me irreparably.

It’s hard to beat the speed and quietness of PCP filling from a tank!

ernroe I would like to make a suggestion that you get a better filter when filling your gun or tank. GX has a great filter and worth the money. I run them on both my compressors. Last thing you want is moisture getting into the guns or tank

I use the same filter. Heads up, air doesn't pass through the filter till 2,000 psi or so. This is to optimize efficiency and life of the media.
