Are you referring to my test target? I wanted to try my springer in case I might try @wolfmangreg challenge. As far as the 50yd BR, I’m still on the fence. We couldn’t really get anyone to discuss it LOL.@Billm if you’re going to use 22 why not shoot a 22?
So if I make a target which is a copy of one which is already copyrighted and you claim copyrights... Things are going to get interesting. I'd think you'd rather release it into the public domain BECAUSE then you are not claiming ownership of some other fellows design work. Probably just me.3. When you design a target the copyright belongs to Airgunfun.com. That is due to the fact that your design will be added to the Airgunfun.com community gallery and everyone will be able to access it and use it.
It’s already been researched thoroughly, you cannot copyright the dimensions of a target. The only thing copyright protectable on a target are unique art work, logos etc.. so if you enter the dimensions of the rings of an existing target and the rings are regenerated as new art, there’s nothing to be infringed. The generator applies both my logo and unique artwork to the target making it copyrightable. A user will be able to use the generated targets as much as they want to for personal use. They could even redraw the scoring rings and do whatever they want to with them. What they wouldn’t be able to do is scan a generated target and print off a thousand targets blackout the QR codes and sell them. The idea is they’re free to download. The issue is really with someone uploading a cool silhouette or image and creating a target then deciding they don’t want everyone else to be able to use it and claiming copyright violation. The TOS hasn’t been finalized yet, but it will address uploading copyrighted material. What design work would that be? A silhouette of a rat.So if I make a target which is a copy of one which is already copyrighted and you claim copyrights... Things are going to get interesting. Bill could you do a 100 yd target to the 8 ring but with 5 on a 81/2 x11. I can’t download your pdf either comes up as a blank page which is really frustrating for me knowing that you are using a iphone 17 and so am i !Here is a downloadable 10m air rifle and 100yd air rifle benchrest target. They are PDF files. The first two are screenshots, don’t print those. Use the PDF files.
Carry on using it if you like it. Theres more than one air rifle to choose from as well. Variety is the spice of life. The only ad on these targets is a link to this site that your posting on and a link to the site that is hosting the target generator where nothing is for sale. This isn’t going to be just a target printer.I have been using this site for a long time
Print Targets

The paper sheet with the targets is customizeable.
Select number of columns and rows and how each target looks.
Each sheet has just the targets none of the ads you have.
I can do that. That’s kind if how I do my stencils. I don’t know if I’ve downloaded the files to my phone yet. I’ll do it all tomorrow. I may make it print only.Bill could you do a 100 yd target to the 8 ring but with 5 on a 81/2 x11. It probably won’t help. Only becaysevifvthecway the algorithm works. It’s looking for specific shade thresholds and edge tearing etc.. I tried a couple of different backer boards and it created other problems. I spent several hours just working on correcting for the phone not being held level. That’s part if what the calibration squares are for. The camera can detect that the phone is nit level by the perspective of the boxes and c then correct for it. But, if someone is having issues, it’s worth a try. ThanksYou might get a very bright colored poster board to lay the targets on for scoring. Just be careful not to close up the holes.
Definitely over, I am accustomed to converting to .22 so I made an assumption. That being said, target 12 may be over as well (the image is a little fuzzy on my phone, but there appears to be some separation). This was one of the target scorer attempts.

If you zoom into target (4) assuming top down, left to right you can see the blue ring is not centered causing an under score of 1. On 5 and 6 @FL22 may have over scored. There our basic correction tools where you can delete any phantom hits, move incorrectly scored hits ( if the scoring ring is placed wrong), add a scoring ring and center it over a hole that was not counted. Target two was missed and hit target 5 and so 5 should be a 0 for a total of two zeros. I may be trying to do too much in one step. I set it up to be able to score a single target with multiple shots or score a target with multiple bulls and assume one shot per bull. Most matches are set up as one shot per bull to ensure precise scoring. That is the way to go for online matches in most cases. But, the results are promising. I will score one and readjust the scoring circles. This was a quick snapshot with an iPhone 17 and I think it’s hard for it to discern the .177. I’ll refine ut and also try a white sheet under it.

I’ve optimized it more so that it can handle different lighting a little better. But, I’m still working on it. Did you see that it has different scoring plugs that you can use. Originally it defaulted to .224”, it also has .30 and .35. I changed it to default to using the caliber being shot, instead of assuming most people want .22. I can change the default if there’s enough input. It uses the blue ring to measure hits. It finds the centroid of the hit and then draws a circle the diameter of the chosen caliber around the centroid. If the shooter selects a scoring plug, it makes the circle the diameter of the plug. I will post the score it gives now. Because it doesn’t know that the one shot is on the wrong target and should be scored as a zero, you have to manually move the scoring ring off the target. If you touch an area with no shot,it will add a hit. If you tap a shot it will allow you to delete it or move it with the arrows at the bottom.Definitely over, I am accustomed to converting to .22 so I made an assumption. Thanks, a positive comment is always appreciated. I’m in the process of turning it into an online match hub. I’m going to try and fine tune the scoring a little more.I'm sadly away from my airguns until the 10th of November, but I'm excited to start using and testing out everything. Looking at your test target, the scoring is looking pretty accurate. All in all this is looking like a pretty nice resource you're building.
