New gun and a broke hip

A while back I made up my mind to go pcp, but it was going to be a one time deal, so I started watching you tube vids to see what was out there. I came across walnut and steel he had just got the new marauder gen 3 and after watching his two vids on that rifle I knew that was the one. I had heard of the marauders of past and the good rep. they had so the all new marauder was a no brainer for me. So on 9/10 I ordered the gun from P.A. and went to the Vevor site and ordered a compressor. On 9/11 my wife and I are up on the town square when it started to rain, we messed around for a bit and when it let up we were walking to the bronco and bam my wife slipped and hit the sidewalk hard. I help her up and get her to the truck and ask if we need to go to the hospital well she wasn't having any of that so to the house we go, the next morning I have to help her out of bed and to the hospital we went. A few x-rays later a broken hip and elbow, that was sat. on sun. they put three screws in her hip and home on monday the 14th. On the 16th my gun comes in and my wife is layed up what do you do? I'll tell you what I did, I went out and shot that gun. Just two mags I mean my wife was in there on the mend..........and my compressor hadn't come in yet. The wife is healing fine and the marauder is doing good to.

Glad your wife is on the mend..., I can relate.

A year back in July my wife had the lead line on our boat that I had just launched. She fell in a gap between the boards on the dock and broke her hip! She got the screws and what-not and healed fine. Worst part of it was I was right in the middle of ground squirrel 'season'!

I am glad you like the new Marauder. Walnut and Steel did a good job showing off the capabilities of the Marauder. It was nice to watch him have fun with it.

I Think it was the third video he had some kind of bottle and around the barrel bi-pod thing on it. It's just not my cup of tea.

Rip - If it is just a barrel band that isn't touching the barrel shroud, I am good with it. If it is tight to the shroud, I would worry about it causing POI issues. It didn't seem to cause him problems though.

The designer made the device where it will (with slide in collets), or will not contact the barrel shroud depending on how the user decides to run it. Walnut & Steel is running the device so the barrel band and barrel shroud are all attached in contact together. I wouldn't run it that way. But then like RIP said, the whole device isn't something I would use.
